yeah, I heard about that. But I'm sure they're assuming its diamond because massive density of carbon.

and here's my post from it.

I imagine that this planet falls under the rule of that interplanetary peace agreement thing that the world signed, so whoever gets to it first couldnt keep the wealth, and instead would have to distribute it evenly amongst the other countries (probably the lesser countries getting more to get them back into the shape or the richer countries getting more because, come on, this is reality), while a few countries pony up for all the costs anyway.

and depending on ease of obtaining, the diamond market would completely fall out.
