Im not here to spoil it for those who haven't seen it. Or did and didn't stay after the credits SHAME ON YOU!!! But for those of you who have seen it, how cool was that? I for one am very excited for all that Marvel has in store for the future.

No, I already knew what was going to happen, plus I'm not dying to see The Avengers. I'm happy it's being made, but nowhere near that excited for it.

I didn't bother to sit through the credits, thought the entire film was absolutely horrid.

I didn't sit through the credits. I wish I did, but I could imagine what happened, so I didn't bother.

I didn't, because I'm not familiar with him or any other comic book characters, really. But I do await the Avengers movie because it means more Tony Stark!

I haven't seen it yet. I liked the first, but I heard the second wasn't as good.
It's not, at least, not in my opinion. It's sole purpose seemed to be just to set up The Avengers. The entire plot, save for the introduction of a couple characters, is completely cancelled by the end of it.

Stingers are so ubiquitous these days, I don't understand why people leave before the end of the credits. Aside from the fact that it's respectful to the film-makers, it's what, 4 minutes of your life? Are you really that desperate to get home after 2 hours in the theatre?

No, i had other plans. Respectful to the film makers? What are they at every screening in the back, crying cos you disrespected them? I gave them my respect by purchasing the ticket. Thats more than enough for me.

I stayed and, to be honest, I was kind of underwhelmed. Maybe its because said character has never been near the top of the list of my favourite Marvel characters, but it was just... meh.
[sub]I'll still end up seeing it though...[/sub]
That said, I'm glad I did sit through to the end, as I didn't at the end of the first one (either time I saw it). Seeing it in the cinema is much better than seeing it on Youtube...

Charming thread title, dude.

Also, if you haven't already, you should read the MovieBob article about that bit after the credits. Interesting perspective on it.

Hardly. But it is a token show of appreciation to observe the names of the people who created a work, the majority of whom will never see a cent from the cost of your ticket.

Plus there's frequently more post-roll. I just find the value people place on things odd.

I wish Marvel had decided to make the Avengers 5 years ago, before they squandered all my goodwill with Civil War. Now, I couldn't care less about the Avengers.

I see, so what you like is what you advice people should do, or else its rude? Interesting. Ill stick to just paying them for the movie. Everyone else in the industry knows damn well by now the pros and cons of each individual job.
