Did anyone else here read it? It was a crock of shit. How does Carol Danvers manage to fuck everything up and get away with no consequences? I feel like this wasn't so much an event but just a way to set up the new Marvel books, even though some of them already started because for some reason they decided to extend Civil War 2.

Welcome to Superhero Continuity.

Expect this level of bullshit in Marvel's movies soon.
The movies are ran by someone else, so I don't think it'll happen. It's because Marvel's editorial is crap and Bendis is a shit writer.

Didn't Pixar just put release Inside Out last year and Finding Dory this year? One which was great and one was pretty good. DC fucked up their comics and they fixed it. Now if only they could fix their movies.

Its not just that, just Comics in general has to be so interconnected with its canon that its annoying. I read the Comic Version of Superman: What's So Funny About Truth, Justice, and the American Way.

I enjoyed the animated adaption of it, but reading the comic had some things I did not like and felt out of place, for one the shoehorning in of than President of the United States, Lex Luthor because you gotta establish that continuity that Lex was President of the USA at this point even though he did barely anyhting in the grand scheme of Story.

And the overall book felt short like it was just one daily story arc in an overall long running series, like an Episode of Star Trek.

Like I can't read a Superman comic without them shoehorning in Batman and referenceing events that happened in his comics.

It's a comic book.
Yes Comic Books where everything gets rebooted in 5/10 years.

Which is why I am upset that the New 52 is gone and they brought back the old continuity elements because the New 52 felt like fresh start, the bloat is wiped clean to start anew.

Batman is rarely shoehorned into Superman books. Also, they're best friends so it makes sense for them to hang out.

New 52 sucked except for a few titles. Also, Rebirth is still the new 52 continuity, just with Pre-Flashpoint stuff added.

It was good. Not great, but good. Snyder should stick to writing Batman (ironic because he wrote that story but Batman's part was terrible).

The movies are ran by someone else, so I don't think it'll happen. It's because Marvel's editorial is crap and Bendis is a shit writer.
You say that now, but sooner or later they will fuck up, it happened to Pixar, it happened to the Comic Book side of Marvel, its gonna happen to the movies.

Batman is rarely shoehorned into Superman books. Also, they're best friends so it makes sense for them to hang out.

How does Carol Danvers manage to fuck everything up and get away with no consequences?
It's a comic book.
Yes Comic Books where everything gets rebooted in 5/10 years.

Which is why I am upset that the New 52 is gone and they brought back the old continuity elements because the New 52 felt like fresh start, the bloat is wiped clean to start anew.
New 52 sucked except for a few titles. Also, Rebirth is still the new 52 continuity, just with Pre-Flashpoint stuff added.
Hence, more Bloat. But anyway is the Justice League Comics alone consistantly good? That is the only Comic series of the New 52 I want to get into?
It's not even bloated, there's less titles and they just brought back the stuff people liked.

The Justice League comic sucks though, the last 2 issues were the only decent ones. Superman, Hal Jordan and the Green Lanterns, and Red Hood and the Outlaws are my personal favorite titles.
What did you thought of Superman Unchained?
It was good. Not great, but good. Snyder should stick to writing Batman (ironic because he wrote that story but Batman's part was terrible).
Oh no they shoehorned in Batman in that Comic aswell? More credenece to my arguement that Batman is everywhere :p
Yeah, one whole comic. Whoo hoo.
You can't deny he has become the face of DC. Something that should be for Superman.
Superman and Batman both share the title as the face of DC.
If I have to be fair, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and the Flash together are the face of DC.

You can take or leave Aquaman, Green Arrow, Martian Manhunter, etc. Those 5 are the most important.
