Has anyone here read/listened to Yahtzee's latest book Differently Morphous? I didn't see a topic for it when I used the search function which surprised me since I assume there are plenty of Yahtzee fans on this site.
I very much enjoyed it. I think it has unseated Mogworld as my favorite of Yahtzee's books. The humor achieved by the combination of Cosmic/Lovecraftian horror with political correctness is excellent. I also like that the novel manages to be descriptive rather than prescriptive on that political/cultural discussion. The book is full of tiny easter eggs for Yahztee's other books and games that are handled very well(subtle and not dwelt on). I also think the book represents a major step forward in Yahtzee's characterization of his...characters. I found the pieces of the plot fit together very nicely without making the outcome obvious too early.
I don't really trust myself to summarize the plot/premise since I don't really believe in spoilers and have seen people complain that revealing the name of a character is a spoiler(even when it is a new character and their name is in no way relevant to the plot)
So what did other people think?
