I really like one song (Sacrifice) from the band Atom Smash, I bought the CD the song was on, hoping that the CD contained more songs like it... I was disappointed. The CD was good, but the rest of the songs did not compare to the one I bought the CD for. Has this happened to any of you guys? Also I would not mind if you guys pointed me in the general direction of more songs like it.

Every Incubus album I ever bought. They were (are) an iTunes band since they usually have only one or two tracks worth listening to twice.

I thought that The King of Limbs by Radiohead was disappointing at first, but then I listened to it again, and I came to my senses. It's awesome.

MCR's new album. When I heard they were going back to a more punkish sound I was expecting something similar to their second album. I was wrong.

Architects last album. It was ok, but...eh, I don't know. There was very little punch to it.

Same here. I wanted to find something on that album that I liked, but there wasn't a single thing there for me. It's a shame, given how much I loved their second and third albums.

As Blood Runs Black's newest album, they had five years to work on it, and honestly I thought there would be more music, turns out it was pretty much one long breakdown. They did scrap pretty much everyone but the drummer though so I didn't expect too much

Rise Against's latest album. I was hopeful seeing as they used to be my favourite band, but this one was more of a disappointment then Appeal to Reason was

Yeah I agree with Architects, As Blood Runs Black, Rise Against and MCR's most recent albums lacking in quality. For me it would be Stone Sour's newest album. Just didn't stand out as much as the first two.

The last Tool album, '10,000 Days'. With studio releases as infrequent as they are my expectations for this album were very high (As was Aenima and Lateralus but they did not fail to deliver on those ablums). With the exception of one song (the title track) every song on the album was forgetful and uninspiring.

Egh, I'd say Morning View was fairly consistently good. Other than that, I'd agree.

Maybe Daft Punk's Homework, for me. Though it's mainly Teachers that ruins it for me.

Architects - The Here And Now. I do like it, despite it being so much tamer than their mentally heavy album 'Hollow Crown' but they were terrible when I saw them live last week purely because the new stuff is so dull and slow

I agree completely with this. I had some friends telling me it was awesome and I bought it, put it on and...I was very bored of it. It now sits in a CD binder where it hasn't moved for years.

I really should have known better
Yeah..Me too, I really liked "A Rush of Blood To The Head" and was expecting something as good or better. Sad how that also hasn't left the CD binder in years.

It wasn't whiny enough for me, they were having too much fun on that album. XD
But honestly, I enjoyed certain parts of that album. It's not Black Parade or Three Cheers, but it doesn't try to be either.

I do miss the angst, dueling leads, and brooding backgrounds, though.

OT: I bought an "A Day To Remember" album once. Since thin, I've developed a complex where I burst into laughter whenever I hear an ADTR song
