I found it is really hard to do what you like as your occupation. At least I changed several jobs, not yet I was interested in. What should I do?

Do you enjoy your work? Why?

You have plenty of choices, but in the end it comes down to a few select things.

Do you want to do a job you love or a job that will make you money?

The job I love is TV Production, but its risky I can literally be out of a job overnight. It pays decent, but not no where impressive.

The economy scares me right now so I'm in TV news, people always need news so my job is stable. I like my job, but I wouldn't say I love it. This job tends to get repetitive.

I would need to know what you want to do first. But I assume its risky or not what you imagined it to be.

Well, since I don't DO anything, no, no I do not.
I don't do anything either. Best. Job. Ever. All I have to do is sit around, play my 3DS, and whine on the internet! Is...is this heaven?
Well, I'd like to find some kind of fulfillment in life. Playing my 3DS and whining on the internet doesn't give me that.

Oops, I shouldn't keep spreading my negative vibes, I don't think it's good for the world...

Yes and no...mostly yes.

I'm bartending/table waiting at the moment. With the right mix of customers and colleagues I can laugh my whole shift away, and get considerable tips. But, any job where you work with the public is going to have that other side to it, an asshole customer destroys the mood.

I work in a freaking cotton mill with a group of the most incompetent workers this side of the Atlantic. If I wasn't changing jobs in a couple month I swear I'd shove my head into one of the giant cards rotating at 1500rpm just to end the time I am forced to spend around them.

P.S. This is a card.

There are roughly two approaches :
1. You work because it's what you like to do.
2. You work, because it gives you money. Your point of focus lies elsewhere.

We, people, mostly fall into second category because we don't really know ourselves that good and without this knowledge we're like, ummmmmmmmmmmmm, leaves on the wind. We're there where "fate" takes us to. It's simple as that.

So. Find yourself. Try to describe what is it that you're interested with, what you like to do, and try to come up with the idea how to make money out of it. Change the place, travel if you must, try new activities. Find yourself in uncommon situations. Discover what is wrong and false about yourself. Give yourself some time. Eventually, you'll succeed.

Also, remember, that even if most obvious solution won't be available, it doesn't mean that this sector is closed for you. For example, maybe because of poor health you can't practice martial arts, and open your own school to train other people, but on the other hand maybe you have abilities making you perfect manager, so you can gather people, find a place, supervise it and your dream will still come true.

I'm an RAF Officer! And I really love it! There's a lot of variety, great people, challenge, chance of travel, sence of pride... The list goes on... Then again my job is more of a way of life than a jb! Anyone who treats the forces as just a job doesn't deserve to be there in my opinion. At the end of the day they could be a risk to others if they do not care about what they do!

I build robotic arms.

Seriously, the kinds you find on automated vehicle construction conveyor lines that rotate parts, weld and a few other neat things.

I really enjoy it.

I work in Liability claims. It's the best job I've ever had and always interesting. New challenges crop up pretty regularly too.

Im a student studenting and such, attempting to attain temporary employment but alas it it rather difficult to attain such a position in the city in which I dwell. I do voluntary work however, I basically play the role of a tutor helping inner city kids improve their academia whilst gaining a lovely notch of recommendation on my c.v.

Yes, but being so fucking terrible at it makes me want to stop existing. It's an interesting situation.

I'm a biology undergraduate.
