Do you play an instrument?

so, my friend was just over and we both play guitar, and he tried to teach me a song (which i will forget in the next 10 minutes, even if i'm playing it constantly). so i wondered who here plays an instrument and what music you play.

right now i'm doing music exams so it's a mixture of stuff, but mostly country/blues is what i like.

I play drums and going to start learning bass when I get the free time.

I play the sexophone saxophone. I did take a 6 moth break from it, so I can study for my exams, but starting from next week I'll be back to "sax"-ing it up...

I dunno if learning counts, but I'm learning to play guitar.

I can play to play lots of retro video game music on the Ukulele (Super mario world 1, Orcarina of time's Rain Song, Tetris theme, trying to learn the chocobo theme from Final Fantasy).

I'm a self taught drummer, and I generally play various styles of rock and metal, along with some jazzier stuff. I also used to play the trumpet, but I've sort of forgotten most of that...

I major in classical saxophone performance (popular instrument it seems), and i rock out on the side with my ska band where i play sax and sing a little. I also play flute, clarinet, tuba, euphonium, and piano. Oh, and ukulele. I never got the hang of the guitar but uke was a much easier learn. I used to play my girlfriend's bass, too, before she had to hock it. Sad day.

I play piano, with a degree of skill directly proportional to how much I like the song. I was playing a couple of grade 7 pieces within the first 2 years of lessons, but have trouble with the songs I don't like. I'm just not that fond of it to really work at learning music I don't enjoy.

Pretty much the same for me. Although I plan on retrying, if I only could remember what note matches which finger...
But I play the piano too and I still remember how to do it, I just never do it.
