So people say it's rude to stare at people. But sometimes when there's a real good looking person , i see people stare at them ( mostly guys staring at women ) or when say there's a child crying at a grocery store , iv'e noticed that people would stare at the parents ( sometimes even glare ). So mu question is do you stare ? and in What cases do you find yourself staring the most ?

Today i saw a really good looking girl, and i couldn't help but stare. Of course when her eyes locked to mine i quickly looked away pretending i wasn't staring . I then thought to myself that i was being creepy and should stop . But when she looked away here i was again staring at her . She looked back at me again , and gave a akward ( maybe even scared ) smile . At this point i decided that i should move along before getting pepper sprayed or something .

Your turn.

Yes, probably too much. But I don't generally like people so it doesn't matter if they're offended.

Although hypocritically it's horrible when people stare at you, they seem so weird.

Not intentionally. It happens most often when I'm thinking about something and I just happen to be looking in someone's direction when it happens. It looks like I'm either staring or having an absent seizure. I suppose both is possible, but I feel they are unlikely.

Occassionally, it will be a real stare.

I don't stare. I've got what I like to call the Harry Dresden stare, where I'll speak to someone but frequently focus on a point outside of their face or on the tip of their nose. It's not that I'm uncomfortable with looking other people in the eyes, it just never came naturally to me. The notion of looking straight into someone else's eyes while they're speaking to me has always felt odd. I couldn't tell you why, honestly.

I was in Blockbusters a few days ago, and this old woman outside stared at me for 5 ****-buggering minutes while she scraped her cigarette on the wall for reasons entirely beyond me. But no, I don't.

I stare at people in the hope that I'll develop a superpower and they'll burst into flames.

I don't stare at people that's weird, I do glare at people I don't like though. Don't look at me like that Glaring and Staring are two different things!

Not too often, but I was at RennFest yesterday, and there was a goddess of a woman was bellydancing and contorting for a magic show. Taking my eyes off her even after she had finished her part was difficult.

So, yeah, actually, I have a problem with staring.

I like staring, oh and I like when people stare at me. At least I've got their attention. It doesn't always have to be bad, you know.
My fiancee told me after 3 three years, that on our first date I stared at her -how did Yatzhee put it "stonking great tits" (boy I do love that quote but she said differently and she wasn't that bothered by it, she enjoyed it kinda)

So remember, cute girls and boys want to be cute, they are "attention-whores" they want your attention and they want you staring at them. If they would feel awkward they would dress differently! *trust me* *wink*

On a side note:
In class it is especially good if people are staring at me, being their teacher I somehow managed to get their attention which is the best thing that could ever happen. :)

I'm myopic, so if I see somebody vaguely familiar, I may take a gander just to make sure I don't blank an acquaintance. It occasionally leads to vague awkwardness.

If a female looks up at me while I'm... Glancing, I tend to just smirk and raise my eyebrows. Gotten a couple of laughs that way. If they make eye contact with me, they have clearly figured me out. Might as well not make a fool of myself trying to cover it up by darting away nervously.

I don't usually stare at people for prolonged periods of time, no. I'll glance at people, but make an effort to not stare.

Prolonged glancing on the other hand...

Only through your window and up close when you sleep, I found this makes people far less uncomfortable... unless they notice me.

When I'm tired, I'll stare at anything. It's strange I've only ever seen the term in a Garfield comic, but I call it "The Early Morning Stares".

Only when I want to kill them with my mind, which doesn't happen very often.

I don't look much at people. If I accidentally make eye contact with someone, I just look away. I don't stare at pretty girls either, because the way I see it, pretty girls want handsome guys to stare at them. Not the fuck ugly ones like me. Is it sad? Sure. But hey. The world doesn't run on fairness. It runs on Hydrogen.
