Do you still enjoy anything you liked as a kid?

So I know that when we're kids we're really easy to please. I'm not saying we have no taste at all but we sure as hell aren't media connoisseurs. Usually whatever we liked as a kid seemed absolutely amazing. Later this reveals itself as good memories which is known as nostalgia. But there are just some movies/tv shows/ games that no matter how much we liked as a kid, the same appeal just isn't there because of our age etc.

So recently I watched the Buu Saga in Dragon Ball Z. Remastered and uncut blah blah blah. Thing is though, I really enjoyed it. Like I honestly sat there and enjoyed watching this show. So I'm asking you guys if you had a similar experience. Did you ever go back to something you used to enjoy and get a similar feeling that you did back then?

As a kid I like riding my bike, playing video games, drawing and making stuff.

At the grand old age of twenty for I make stuff for a living, ride my bike to work, play video games whenever I can and draw every day.

So, pretty much.

Don't play with cuddly toys much nowadays though...

I still like my Playstation 2 console just because there's still a lot of games that I like to play on there. I've had that thing for up to 6 years or so. Some games have lost their luster, but it's the library of games that I haven't played I look forward to.

I also like to sleep with my stuffed animals. They're so fuzzy and warm. :)

I havent grown up well I think. I still watch tons of cartoons...probably always will.
Recently I have been tempted by my legos. I might actually start buying and PLAYING with them. Or atleast build some stuff.

I made a trial account and rewatched some Brainpop videos, expecting them to be overly simplistic to my high-school-aged self. Turns out they're still quite informative.

I keep all my old games. Not because im not bothered to trade them in, or so i can sell them to collectors several decades from now when theyre hyper rare, but so i can replay them if i feel like it.

Most things, I think. I'm 21 now and I still love Spongebob. In fact, I find it funnier as an adult. Same as OP, I also still love Dragon Ball Z. I also still love all the games I grew up with (Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, Ape Escape etc.)
Ooh, and Star Wars. Yeah, I still love Star Wars

EDIT: And Pokémon! And the '90s X-Men animated series! And any other cartoons I'm forgetting about...

I still love Fairly Odd Parents, that that I have anything that would give that away...

Beyond that, not much.

Hey Arnold.

I spent an entire week watching Hey Arnold episodes on Youtube. Now that I'm older, I actually understood a lot more of the episodes.

That show is pretty fucking great!

Gaming, cartoons, plush toys are kind of a secret love rather than a massively vocal one, Pokemon, drawing... That's all I can think of for now, but yeah, quite a few things.

Well, I saw Winnie the Pooh in theaters day one (would have been a midnight showing if the theater had done one), and I just recently concluded a near year-long search for Courage the Cowardly Dog on DVD, one of my favorite cartoons as a child. So yeah, I'd say I still like things from my childhood.

I still play my old NES games on occasion... in fact I just recently started up a new save on Final Fantasy. Y'know, the first one (Thief/Red Mage/Black Mage/White Mage for the curious. I like a moderate challenge at the start and the ability to nuke the ever-loving shit out of my enemies later on).

I also occasionally go back and read through the Lord of the Rings... last time was about 3 years ago... pretty sure most of the books I read in middle school still hold up fairly well. I've been meaning to re-read the Pern series, which I started when I was ten.

Several of the movies I loved growing up are still favorites, such as the Star Wars trilogy, The Princess Bride and pretty much anything by Mel Brooks.

Music... well, I still like the bands I used to listen to nigh-exclusively as a kid (Metallica, Megadeth, Slayer, Suicidal Tendencies, et cetera), but my tastes have broadened. A lot.

Television... well, I'm not one to go back and re-watch Hanna-Barbara cartoons and such (but I do love modern cartoons that lampoon the shit out of 'em)... but the Tick is still awesome, and most of the anime I watched as a kid holds up today as well. Even Ranma 1/2 is still pretty funny.

So yeah. I guess I do.

Well, there are some video games I still like, that I did like as a kid (super mario RPG, duke Nukem (older ones)). I still like anime, just some different ones, but even some I did like as a kid (cowboy bebop, flcl, etc.) There are some movies, and music that I still like but I'm not gonna make a huge list, so yea, there are some things I still like.
