Now I know that it is still rather early in the month but I can't help but notice that very few people have even bothered putting up any Fall/Halloween decorations. In my neighborhood we used to have people who decorated with very extravagant decorations, like fake castle fronts and all kind of dismembered limbs, but in the past few years these decorations have dwindled to just about nothing. I actually carved a pumpkin last year and had a neighbor complain to me about it and he told me to keep it inside....

Anyway anyone here go all out with Halloween decorations!? I want to hear about your awesome set ups so I still have a little faith in this holiday!

Well I live in México so Halloween isn't really a big things in a lot of parts, but last time I was on this city, which is a border city people actually went quite big on it, it's off I'd swear this place celebrates more American Festivities than Mexican ones, but anyway, no there's only one house on the entire neighbourhood that has been decorated, and if I remember correctly those are the guys that went all out with hanged corpses and some guy dressed as a scarecrow that jumped at kids when they passed by, don't know if they are still doing it considering that was around 6-7 years ago, according to my friend it has died down quite a bit, brings back memories...[footnote]Then I went on a really long tangent, telling a story about one Halloween, which got edited out from the final post because it wasn't relevant or particularly interesting.[/footnote]

I'd take a picture of my house and upload it if I didn't know how dangerously stupid that could be.

In any case, my house is decorated for Halloween. It has been for a few days now.

Our house has never been especially decorated. I've pretty much always lived far out into the country, so kids never trick or treated in our "neighborhood". At the old house we would carve a pumpkin or two and maybe put up a fake witch. But now there's not really any decoration.

I live in Holland, and that's not really a thing here. So, well, no. But I like the dutch style of decorating for christmas. which is:

-one tree (in the house, not outside)
-some lights in the windows or those string around poles in the front yard
-Absolutely nothing else.

I like simple things.

I don't but my friend does, so I buy Halloween decorations for her, and for myself. Some of them are pretty cool.

Decorate? Not yet no. And we don't do it anymore so much despite it being an Irish tradition, I used to insist we decorate when I was younger. I just don't really enjoy the holiday anymore but I'm determined to this year

Here in Australia Halloween has never been much of a thing for us. Oh sure, you get some decorated houses and kids trick-or-tricking etc, but they're the exception. Quite frankly, I'm not very interested in going through all that effort, especially so close to Christmas.

We don't really have Halloween here. The closest thing we have is All Saint's Day, when we put candles on the graves of our loved ones.

Christmas decorations? Yes.

Halloween? Not that I've seen.

It doesn't help that I live in New Zealand.
