I recently got a hedgehog as an early Christmas gift since I've always wanted one, and I'm entirely new to this animal. I've done research in the past and even rather recently without knowing I was receiving one, so I was kind of shocked.
I've owned cats, dogs, various types of high maintenance fish, lizards, frogs, and chinchillas.
But I'm new to the hedgehog ownership fandom. He's adorable, he's spiny, and his name is Sora.
Anyway, does anyone have an tips on owning one?
My biggest challenge right now is learning how to handle him, and how to properly keep him warm since he's not native to our northern climate and requires temps between 70-80 degrees fahrenheit (about 21-27 celsius I believe)
