So these few years I have been trying to find people with similar intrests in music but it seems very difficult. Trough the internet I have only found 2 people from my country who listen to this music and the only forum is filled (IMO) with old people who do nothing but complain about the current state of the genre. Also Das Klub chat room is empty all the time so it´s hard to have a conversation. So do you know what industrial music is? If yes what´s your fauvorite band/artist?

For a genre as diverse as this I find it odd that so few people even know of it´s existence.

I listen to a lot of industrial metal, does that count?

As for actual industrial, the only band I have really listened to is Turmion Kätilöt, and I'm not sure if they're popular or considered good.

I listen to more of the original industrial bands. Like Throbbing Gristle and Foetus which had a huge significant on the industrial genre.

Static-X and Fear Factory are pretty much the only ones I can think of, industrial metal though.

Industrial metal is pretty good, but I can't say I like industrial too much.

I was really into it in high school... Front Line Assembly, Funker Vogt, Velvet Acid Christ, anything good and dark with deep bass.

I honestly figured the genre had died off, but I guess genres never really die anymore. Still, I felt like it was dead/dying when I was becoming a fan back in high school, so really I'd say your best bet for quality industrial is to look to the past: The Late 90's, MAYBE early 00's.

If Hanzel und Gretyl and Turmion katilot count then yes, but I'm more into the industrial metal. I know that there's a place in London where you can go to an aerobics class where they use only industrial though.
