So a month ago, I got into a minor altercation with a person at school, which resulted in a 1 day suspension for me. I'm a junior in high school, and have never been suspended before.

EDIT: Typo fixed, lol it's been a long week..

2ND EDIT: I'm not in junior high, I'm a junior in high school, meaning my graduation date is about a year a half away, June 15th, 2012.

One day? Probably not, but I'd worry more about how you spelt "chances", you never know when Harvard might come down on your ass for that.

It might at some university somewhere. But, unless you've established a pattern of behavior, I doubt places would care. Hell, I was suspended several dozen times and my University didn't care. Of course, I waited for 8 years or so to apply and did so as a transfer student so they didn't even care what I did in High School.
