*you see im not so bad me and this person made up*
"still, i think it´s not fair for the other players who are totaly excited about the quests there might be in the darkbrotherhood.

But you gave me back hope for more epic quests"
Best of germany Hisaresso
im in a forum talking to some one about how playing the hitman soundtrack during the last couple of dark brotherhood missions in skrim just seem to fit. some guy came in complaining about spoilers and how i ruined his skyrim experince. being pretty tired of people that allways whine and ***** about spoilers i put a responnse of every single little thing that happens in the dark brotherhood just to piss him off. does that make me a asshole

How is any of what you said a spoiler?

If I want to avoid spoilers, I simply avoid anything to do with it.

For instance, the story for Mass Effect 3 has been leaked, so I'm going nowhere near anything to do with Mass Effect 3 (off this site, anyway).

If you go into a Skyrim thread, expect the chance of spoilers.

Asshole? Yes, though it still made me grin a little; I'm something of an asshole myself at times.

Bad gamer? I can't think of much that could legitimately qualify someone as such. Someone that identifies as such but doesn't actually play games, I guess.

Well maybe...
Depends on how much he ranted then if he went completetly over the board maybe it was a nice smash in the face for him, but if you want to avoid spoilers then just shut the forum page down goddammit -.-

It does a bit but I agree with Daystar Clarion too, he should have been avoiding all topincs if he was worried about spoilers. So he kinda brought it on himself too.

At least you could put a spoiler warning up for people. It's sometimes unenjoyable if you know the end of something before you could enjoy it. Because the end is often the apex of the story. The very moment a whole story makes sense and concludes in a beautiful fashion. If you say what is going to happen, a lot of the events preceding the ending will often become skewed with the foreknowledge gained from hearing about the ending first.

It's like telling people the big clue from The Sixth Sense before they could see it. Knowing that before ever seeing it ruins the initial experience.

I'm not sure that you could be considered a 'bad gamer' for doing this.

Yes, you acted like a bit of a dick. Spoiling stuff on purpose is dickish. But the fact that you ask an internet forum about this probably means you feel bad about it; in which case, you've learnt your lesson.

If you're just posting for an "AMIRITE?" from your fellow gamers... :S

Though I'm always willing to give second chances, so meh.

Er, I'll agree that anyone wanting to avoid spoilers has no business on any venue of discussion whatsoever for the thing in question, but that doesn't mean someone who spoils the plot isn't... well, spoiling the plot.

I still say that sword had the most ridiculous name I've ever seen, by the way. No offense intended, of course.

Well, people don't like spoilers of games they like. When they know what is going to happen to them it will make less of an impact.

If you consider something a spoiler, put a spoiler tag on it, or be really vague so that people who didn't do it have no idea what you're talking about.

How so?

You get points for recognising it, at least.

Overlooking the fact that "daystar" is kind of an oxymoron (even though they're there regardless of the time of day, one doesn't exactly associate stars with the daytime; not even the most obvious star during the daytime is commonly thought of as such), it just reeks of forced fantasy naming scheme to me, and doesn't really sound organic at all, even amongst its surroundings. It even has a clumsy ring to it. Just felt she was trying too hard.

Yes, I realize its name is meant to signify something to the effect of "the herald of the sun's arrival", that it is supposed to be symbolic. I still think it sounds silly.

Heheh, I suppose your right to some degree. I still like the way it sounds though.

I'm not really as much of a fan of the series as I was when I first read it (I was like, 15).

All the main characters are too perfect (especially Rhapsody, she's the biggest Mary Sue ever). But it was my first epic fantasy series, so it will always hold a place.

Yeah, sort of.
But on the other hand, he should have been prepared, and from what you originally said (not sure you added in more details) ou didn't really 'spoil' it anyway.

Yeah I hate when people spoil stuff like that for me. It's okay to talk about spoilers if you tell people beforehand, but to just spew them out there without warning is pretty inconsiderate.
