The game you're downloading finally finishes, you install it, set it up and jump in right away... Only for it to turn around and say "NOPE, no gaming for you, it's time to download a patch!"

I don't. I don't love it. I only love it when I'm playing and my girlfriend brings me a good sandwich.

I like patches, it indicates something getting fixed. But in some cases, something getting screwed up. =(

That doesn't bother me that much, but really bites is when the first patch is done and it begins another one then another and another. Thats almost worth breaking my computer.

Of course I love it.

If I don't update, my game might crash, it'll erase my savefiles, and then I have to wait for the patch AND redo everything I did before.

Yeah, I'd have to say I agree with the recipient of the aforementioned donut. It sure would suck to lose everything to an obscure bug that slipped through the testing phase in order to meet publisher's deadlines.

When I got my shiney new PS3 I figured it, with it's shiney blu space technology, would be better than my dead Xbox 360. It took an hour or so for the initial set up. Once I realized it was fully set up, I signed on to PSN which took another long series of loading and downloading and whatnot. I tried PSN Home but gave up after a few minutes due to long load times and a lack of point. I popped in my first PS3 game, Batman: Arkham Asylum, and waited for it to load for about a half hour, hour or so. Several hours later, I was finally playing my first PS3 game and hoping they didn't all take that long to set up e.e

Oh noes, 5 more minutes without playing the game.

That sure sucks, dude. If i were you i'd be crying right now.
Ever play warcraft? 1 full day, 6 hours to install, 4 hours to install 1 patch, 2 hours for another patch, thats after the fuckin post man got it here for around 12:30pm so yeah, it depends on the game, whichis why I'm terrified of this compy breaking, I don't want to have to find sommit to do for 12 hours.

It doesn't bother me, because it means that there are some new goodies/bug fixes that'll improve my gaming experience.

I don't love it...and for proof of my hatred of this you can ask that rusted up pile of junk that used to be my computer.
