Doomsday Arcade is, in it's whole self, a love letter to gamers. They don't get mythology wrong, they make sure that the most uninformed gamers get at least one reference, and they're consistently funny. At the start of the series, it just started as more of a sketch comedy series with a thin layer known as a plot. But slowly there started to be better, more interesting characters like Brucie. The show started to have an interesting plot as well. The big story curve started with episode 11, the first part of a two parter look into how Lund and Shanks met and why everybody either wants to protect them or kill them. While having an interesting plot, they still were consistent with plenty of jokes, references, and utter randomness. Come on, how many of us would have thought up LAZER CAT!!!!! The show even sometimes has it's serious episodes, like episode 19 where the dice lord slowly montaged over what was happening on the npc side. Mario's mushroom addiction was a solid side plot, while Toad turned out to be one of the most interesting characters. Now, the comedy isn't for everyone, but it is for most. Overall, this may be the equivalent of a 4 star movie, but considering this is a production on the web, it deserves 5 LAZER CATS OUT OF 5.

Hello yuckytucky and welcome to the review section. A bit of an embarrassingly short review there, I suggest you check out the other reviews on the site to see what sort of length and standard you should be aiming for.

First of all, welcome to the mad house. :)

You have a solid start, here. But Stranger's right, this review is a tad short. I for one wanted to know more of your thoughts on the subject of Doomsday Arcade, so that to me is a good sign.

Well, I guess I should add a little more. Thanks for the tips. Guess I'll look at other reviews and make some more reviews of things I will love forever, or hate forever.
