I have an iPod, and I want to have a playlist of songs that would be played as the world ends. I need more ideas of songs to put on.
So far I have,
"Christmas at ground zero" by Weird Al, (for nuclear war)
"Somewhere beyond the sea" Sang by Bobby Darin, (for the ice caps melting)
And that's about it. Help me out!

If you make it through, Dancing In The Ruins by Blue Oyster Cult would make for excellent mood setting while you and your band of survivors valiantly try to resettle *Insert major metropolitan area here*.

I second War Pigs and Tenth Man Down.

More Human than Human by White Zombie for an apocalypse brought on by Genetically engineered Ubermensch.

You could do Jackson Browne's "Running On Empty" for fossil fuel depletion. Bobby Darin also recorded two songs about nuclear armaggedon. One is Tom Paxton's "Strange Rain" and the other is called "Who Turned The World Around", from a self-titled album he recorded for Motown Records in 1972. Both of those might be hard to find, though, because I don't think that they are currently available on CD. I have MP3 files of both if you're interested.

We all go together when we go by Tom Leherer the funniest song about armaggeddon ever written.

Pretty much any thrash released between 1986 and 1994 as pretty much everyone sang about nuclear war.

Erm thats it for now

Time is running out by MUSE.
If we'd die by a supernova, Dead Star by MUSE.
