Fable 3 - You had to download the black dye at additional cost
Dragon Age 2 - So much DLC it makes you sick, and considering how lazy they were in the level design I would have thought they would not charge us for the semi decent equipment, etc.

I purchased both of the above new. i understand the second hand game market is cutting into the company profits and I do sympathise (a little). But charging extra for black dye in fable 3 was too much. I sold my version of the game in disgust. There would have been many more hours in it for me but i was not prepared to be tempted by any more DLC. I did the same for Dragon Age 2.

Does anyone else think that Fable 3 went too far? Are there any other games out there that need to be pimp slapped for their greed?

I played through Fable 3 the whole way offline to find every dye. I go online the next week and there is the Black dye. My FAVORITE dye. I sold that shit game the next day.

I have not played fable 3, what is black dye and what does it do for you ingame?
It allows you to change the color of your cloths, Even I think hair. Useally you have alot of diffrent dyes, Cloths have two things to dye primary and secondary. So forceing a user to buy black dye in a game where it should already be supplied is fucked up.

Wait, what? At the moment, the only DLC for DA2 that you didn't get for free by buying the game new are the "class item packs", none of which are needed in any sense of the word. So what are you on about here?

Yeah, they're dick moves, but I love how people are reacting to this.

OH GOD, NO BLACK DYE. STOP THE PRESSES. LIONHEAD MUST DIE!

The dye thing was taking the piss a little (My shelf had 3 glaring gaps that could only be filled with real-world money, and being the OCD freak I am that fact tore into my very soul...)

They were only charging a little for it though, and they were actually never needed for anything in the game... Plus, Fable 3 was made by Peter Molyneux, and I would be unable to stay mad at him even if he took up baby-eating as a hobby. The guy made Dungeon Keeper, I can forgive some silly DLC.
