And only 2 more Comic Books left for this Event series to end. What the hell is going on in the DC Comic Book Universe?

So essentially Dr. Manhattan is more powerful then Darkseid, the Anti-Monitor, and others combined.

Well Dr. Manhattan is literally a God. Even with Superman, Batman and wonder woman he could take on the entirety of the DC. He can travel back in time and prevent every single one of them being born, or even their planets of origin from even forming. He could redo the big bang to change the DC universe to any other universe.

I mean there is Firestorm and Captain Atom who more or less have the same powers and I bet Lex or Fate could cook up something up

Dr Manhattan survived being entirely disintegrated at a molecular level by Ozymandias, and can dish out the same to anything he wishes with a thought. He perceives all of time at once. You don't defeat Dr Manhattan. You convince him of your side of the argument.

Well we still have not the fated battle between him and Superman yet.

But now I can only imagine what Alan Moore is thinking right now.

I think you die if you try.
Going by how he writes, I'm convinced Moore has a perception of reality akin to Manhattan.

Well from what I remember he does believe in some form of sorcery.

Yes, him and Morrison. It's very odd to think that a pair of men with such peculiar beliefs have done so much for comic books as an artform. I mean, you wouldn't expect people who believe in occultism to have a very good grasp on social commentary and psychology and other matters that you'd think require a more grounded outlook.

it's probably not a good idea to take what Moore says so literally. he's regularly spoken about how writing is pretty much sorcery/magic due to its ability to create from nothing and fool people into believing what's there; creative types who live in worlds of metaphor often do get interpreted way more literally by others as it is. also judging by his appearances on episodes of the infinite monkey cage (very much focused on logic and reason), he rather seems to be pretty self-aware and such statements come off as more playful curiosity and leaning into public perception than anything like serious belief

Whatever happens it'll be a fucking shitshow. It took a year and a half to get to this point and it was mostly a whole load of nothing.

Doomsday Clock has been a disaster from beginning and probably to end unless there's some REALLY good writing in the remaining issues. The first 6 issues or so were a complete waste of time with OC Donut Steel characters farting around for reasons I forget.

I don't even know what is even going on to understand why the Doomsday Clock event was a disaster?

I have heard that it has something to do with the Dark Nights: Metal event.

It's just been a load of faffing about and Johns thinking he's more clever than he actually is.
