Dragon Age origins is much better on the PC. The pause and play style of gameplay is much preferred over it's console brethren.

DA2 - doesn't matter.
Yeah, just do yourself a favor and forget that Dragon Age 2 even exists. Like every Matrix movie after the first one.

If you use a 64 bit version of windows 7 then don't get it for the PC since it won't work.

EDIT: Never mind then apparently it does work.

It won't? I use windows 7 64 bit and it works fine for me.

On Topic: I rented it on the 360 when I first played it and then bought it for the PC.

Well I use 64 bit and it won't work for me. Unfortunately this is a common problem with it so you are a lucky one.

Go PC, aside from the fact that its cheaper (here anyway) it is not only more moddable, but arguably has a better interface, couldn't stand it on the PS3.

Unlucky :(

I'm on x64, and it worked fine here. Have they had any luck in finding out what causes the issue?

Nope and they gave up. That issue was caused in the update of 1.02 and from what I know its still there. I'm a little confused by 2 people saying its working fine for them so who knows maybe it did get fixed.

Don't be foolish, there were no Matrix movies after the first one.

DA:O more suited to PC it still had that Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights feel and allowed for more abilities to be mapped.

Note: i had it on the 360 my mate had it on the PC

I finished the game on both systems and found my experience on pc was much better, I played it on a x64 with no problems really. If you want to play on more then easy or very easy I think it becomes more frustrating then fun on xbox. Also playing more than one character is easier on pc. Also I would recommend you go for the game of the year edition or whatever they called it, nice having the bonus stuff for only a few dollars more.

Hmmm I've had issues with the DVD version, but I bought the Collectors or Ultimate version from Steam for next to nix and it works fine in Win7 x64 Home for me. I even use the same saves.

I agree with this and also the ending for the PC was alot better on the PC version the the Xbox. Not that the endings different just its better. Oh and do yourself a favor if u get the GOTY edition downlode it from somewhere the disk version i got was broken and took me forever to get it to work

PC. Though a word of warning, this game has a SERIOUS memory leak in it. Like, worse than the Skyrim one. Make sure you've got at least four gigs of ram if you plan on playing for more than a few hours.
