Dragon Ball Evolution: Good or Bad?

Most will say it will ruin the Anime/Manga forever. Piccolo is barely green. Goku Does not smile once in the trailer and where the F%*k is Krillin. Filmmaker James Wong has made the following films The X-Files, Final Destination, The One, and the remakes of Willard and Black Christmas. But how will his latest piece Dragon Ball go. I think it looks like pure Hollywood Trash but whats your view on the matter?

I think they have taken that which was holy, and turned it into something dirty. Of course I will still go see it, if not just to sit there and cry everytime yellow Piccolo comes on screen.

Not to offend DB fans but the anime was utter shit in my opinion.

I think they made the movie in response to that, making it for people like me who might find enjoyment out of a shitty first experiance.

I think it looks like a rental at best. The only other James Wong flick I saw was The One, and if that's all I have to go off of, my hopes aren't high.

DBZ Abridged is a better remake than this will ever be.

They damned themselves when they wrote the story based off of the DragonBall series rather than Z and decided to have Goku be a grown man/teenager.

That alone (aside from the horrible, high-school level trailers) made me despise the thought of this movie.

I'll probably still go see it in theaters. Because I'm optimistic.

Ah you see, this topic is rather interesting. There are three types of people in this world: Those who never saw the anime, those who saw it and think that the movie is going to be awesome, and those who saw the anime and are up in arms about this movie. Sadly, the first two groups of people that I have listed don't exist on the internet. Therefore there is only one opinion that everyone can agree one.

Meh, i have no expectations but i am looking forward to watching this, simply because of the fact that its a DBZ movie. I don't even really like DBZ.
