My fellow Escapist's, what do you dream of?

A simple question with multiple meanings however I am not talking about the dreams you experience once you shut your eyes and go to sleep, no. I am talking about the dreams you want to reach, what you want to do? What you want to; see, smell, touch, taste and hear? What is your goal in life?

I ask this because recently I had a talk with a number of people that made me question my dream, its possibilities and its moralities. However this thread will not go into depth of this because it's a long story and you already know everything you need to know about the situation

I also want to stress that I don't mean completely impossible dreams like; touch the edge of the universe or Katy Perry's boob. It's never going to happen and I'm sorry if I just ruined your dream there.

So tell me, what do dream of and want to realistically achieve

I want to live in Japan for a while, but mainly to never stop moving. I can't stand staying in the same place for too long; it begins to stagnate for me.

That's basically what I dream of, as well. How odd...

Well, I'm an aspiring writer.

I plan on going to college abroad somewhere in Europe. Most likely Germany or Italy.

I'd like to constantly travel as I don't like sitting in one place for too long.

Japan is definitely on my list of places to go.

So all of that.

Well, im a simple soul; i dream of having a wife, a nice house, and a kid or 2, as well as doing a job i enjoy.
Thats it really, couldnt ask for anything else haha. Sure, a load of cash would be nice, but meh, family > money.

In the next few years though, i dhope to get 3 A*/A grades in my A levels and hopefully get a place in either Oxford or Edinburgh university. But thats unlikely; but at least dreams give a small glimmer of hope and drive to achieve, eh?

I have no idea. Probably in the way BlueberryMUNCH said. Not necessarilly with a family though. I don't know, I just want to live comfortably; maybe experience love once.

I dream of becoming a filmmaker. Not becoming uber famous or becoming a celebrity, just being a filmmaker.

Unlikely, but hey, I can imagine.

Edit: I also hope to be the lead singer of a band. Maybe not even a successful band, but just a band. A group of friends I can dick around with when we're not producing music, and just to have a laugh with.

Is that all you want to achieve? Not change the world? Be remember? Or rewrite history?

I want to live long enough and make enough money to experience either the technological singularity (no, not like a black hole), or the invention of the cure for old age. Live forever or die trying!

Basically, I want to be able to live long enough to find intelligent life (or just life in general) on another world. I want to be a xenopsychologist (I want to study how alien life thinks).

I dream to become a sports broadcaster some day. I know it's really unlikely to ever happen though, so I'll likely have to come up with a backup plan.

I also do not like to travel, so another dream is to stay in one place as long as possible.

I have a dream. But I haven't grasped the idea of it completely nor how to get there. Or something like that.
