I'm excited. Never gonna miss an episode of this. Now, to be fair, I was never a huge fan of the original Duck Tales, since it felt like a distortion of the Carl Barks comics it was based on and that I had read as a kid. It always felt so weird when the Beagle Boys had differing body shapes instead of being identical, and when Magica de Spell's voice didn't sound like I imagined it.
I never read the original comics, only watched the original show as a kid. But I have heard they're trying to mix the comics with the old cartoon, hence why Donald's in this iteration and not in the old show and why the opening has a bit on a comic book vibe.Queen Michael said:

I'll say it has a comic book vibe--much of the imagery is directly based on old Donald Duck comics paintings by Carl Barks.RaikuFA said:
Being born in '93, basically meant I missed the original show, and I was never into Comics (excluding Calvin and Hobbes) either (Which is funny, because I made a lot of Comics as a kid). Come to think about it, beyond The New Adventures of Winnie The Pooh, I didn't care much for Disney TV Cartoons, either. Still, I've heard very good things about the Original Show. Perhaps I will give this remake a try.
I'm actually excited for this! I don't remember the original show too well (but I know I did see it), but I'm looking forward to seeing how they update the cartoon for this new generation... also to see how many kids get that theme song stuck in their heads...
From what I've seen so far (first trailer, the intro, the character trailers), it look promising so far. I liked that it's a reboot given to the character redesgin but in saying I kinda forgotten the show (like remember the villians and episodes).
