The Escapist is fundamentally a site about video games for grown-ups. We like to think we have all been there and done that and stuck with the hobby along the way, and gaming, well, gaming is kind of our little escape from reality.
When we get some downtime between life and even our gaming obsession, there is nothing we like to do more than sit down with a good book (in my case, audiobook) and get away from it all. This makes it awkward when my favourite book series in years is based on GAMING! Aaargh,
