Dynasty Warriors Berserk

Alright, so some time back I posted on a thread my desire for a Berserk game in the vein of a Dynasty Warriors game.

Well, it seems like the Gaming gods are listening to me and the stars have aligned (Or, perhaps it's to try to promote that new Berserk anime series being made). Nevertheless, it's finally happening: They're making a Berserk Dynasty Warriors game.


So far, we haven't got too much to go on aside from that trailer and a few screenshots:

So thoughts? Opinions? A strange sensation that one can only describe as, what's the word? Ah yes: Excitement? As always Discuss!

I will play it. But I kinda want DW9 to get its ass announced. I'm still waiting on Yuan Shu.

Maybe it will be like DW: Gundam, where it made me a fan, since I am currently not familiar with Berserk at all.

Edit: I hope its more DW than Dragon Quest Heroes was. Two IPs I love, fused into a boring tower defense/hoard mode game.

Making a PG/PG-13 Berserk isn't for me.

I want blood, gore, limbs flying off in different directions.

Berserk is all about that uncompromising violence and tragedy.

Did you look at the screen shots? Looks pretty bloody and gory to me. Certainly not the T rating I'm used to in my DW games. (Though Id love an M rated one atleast once...though Xiahou Dun's eye...)

There was already a thread on this. The announce trailer eroticised a rape scene.

Whether you think this is fine or classless, I'm, pretty sure it's a sign they're not going Teen.
