Seriously, does anyone even know a game that's both fun to play and rated E? I mean, I have no problem with this, but I've noticed that I don't own a single E rated game...and I don't feel sports games count.

Sports games are exempt from classification aren't they? Anyway, Carsh Bandicoot was rated E wasn't it? Like that one.

Super mario 64, sunshine, galaxy. All those are rated E I think.

Also, all the zelda games, they're good too.

I think alot of them are rated Teen.

So we have the Mario games, Galaxy is great. And the Pokémon games are nice (the main series).

Pretty much all my games are rated M but there's more than a few great E rated games.

yeah, I mean, the purpose of this thread was not to show that E rated games suck, I agree the Mario's were good and honestly forgot about them because I thought about this while looking at the games I have on me, all of which are 360/PS3...I just found it interesting that other than Nintendo, as you've all pointed out, no companies really bother to make E rated games. And I think this is because E rated games are games for kids under 13, and so the only games with that appeal are the games for kids that no one likes. I guess the better question would have been, why do you think companies are shying away from good E rated games, a lot of games could be E if they were slightly less violent or a bit less edgy. And its not that I'm against M and T rated games, I just wanted the opinions of others

Viva Pinata. That's really good, and rated "G" (For general Exhibition, the Australian equivalent of "E")

Also a lot of racing games are rated "G", and there some great stuff there (Project Gotham Racing 3, Colin McRae: DiRT)

The overwhelming majority of my games (other than sports games) are rated T for Teen, but good E-rated games I own include Capitalism II, Airline Tycoon, Civ 2, and Patrician 3.

What the hell is Kindom Hearts rated? Personally I beleive KH-1-2, and the first 3 Spyro games are the best kid-freindly gamed on a sony system.

Im currently trying to find a GOOD game for the Ps2 that won't piss off my little step-brother's father. It's the kid's birthday and I refuse to buy the kid shitware.

Braid
Most Mario games
Tony Hawk's RIDE
LEGO Star Wars, Batman, etc
Elite Beat Agents is certainly a good one; I've given up nights of TF2 to finish a song there.

As many others have said, you could try.

Mario games, mario kart is fun.

Lego star wars.

Or some of the pokemon games.

Oh and Spryo, wait was it an E rated game? I think it was.

I think all games should have to be rated E or they are not released. Might encourage some decent gameplay rather than filling that void with explosions and mild cursing parading as character development.
