The next iteration of Playstation Portable is announced

The Kojima teaser page with Big Boss and Raiden is a red herring heralding the E3 announcement of a Snatcher sequel in the works.

I think that Trico will have some kind of official teaser and I think that it will steal the show as the best/most interesting game. Well... to anyone with a brain and interest in unique games mostly.

Demoed? I want that thing with a solid freakin release date so I can start my timer on my reservation.

As for what else I want to see, I want to see a sequel to Mirror's Edge at least in the works, or at least something using the same engine. And Mass Effect 2 information. And Diablo 3 info, for that matter.

As for a silly suggestion, I think E3 '09 will see the return of... THE PHANTOM.

Well, I think we can reasonably expect some info on Prototype, Alpha Protocol, Mass Effect 2, Trico, Modern Warfare 2, etc. The exciting things are the things that we don't even know about yet, so hard to predict.

EDIT:

Oh, true on Mirror's Edge 2, I really enjoyed the first one. And the end of your post reminds me, I want a sequel to Psychonauts reveled, although that's unlikely.

Bungie has hinted at releasing more stuff about ODST, so I'll be looking for that.

I'm actually curious about Heavy Rain: The Origami Killer. If you guys could get some information on this game, I would be very happy.

I say Nintendo will pop out some new games other than some Zelda or Mario title. However, it's possible they will screw up like last time with.....Wii Music...

The least serious thing I can think of is that Valve and 3DRealms have been cooperating on Duke Nukem Forever for the past 12 years, resulting in the immense delay but in the process creating the greatest thing man has ever created.
Also, thatgamecompany will totally reveal a new set of levels for Flower.
Konami will announce MGS5, and it will be a Raiden-centric acrobatic stealth fighting game.
Blizzard will make a surprise appearance and apologize for ruining Starcraft II before it was released, and will make amends by making the game one game again and bringing back all the original voice actors.

Seriously now, I expect to see info on Alan Wake, both Forza 3 and Gran Turismo 5, and a Metal Gear game that, even if it's just MGS4 on 360, will have new content. Hopefully we'll get some new info on Trico. I also want to see a new, intriguing game revealed.

Personally, and in all seriousness, I want to see:
a) A Godzilla game that isn't just you running around fighting Mothra and Mecha Godzilla over and over, maybe an adventure title with you as a human instead of as Godzilla, trying to get away from the city or take down the G-beast. Something fun like that.

b) A Sonic title that will redeem him in the eyes of his fans. If you want some suggestions, Sega, look here: <url=http://gameoverthinker.blogspot.com/2009/04/episode-twenty-two-sonic-in-crisis-part.html>Moviebob as The Game Overthinker, Episode 22: Sonic in Crisis Part II

c) Possibly a new console developer stepping up. That'd be fun.

Now we get to the silly ones.

d) Tiger Woods and the Silver Putter: Night of the Wolf--It's all there in the title, baby.

e) Alton Brown's Kitchen Stadium--Fighting off hordes of zombies to defend your chef while simultaneously attempting to get your horde through to the other chef. Narrated by Alton Brown, God of all things food-related.

f) Magic the Gathering

This year, Nintendo has stated that their main focus at their press conference will be about games. In a list format, here's what I think is likely to see from them.

-Demo/release date for Zelda: Spirit Tracks
-Demo of WiiSports Resort
-A new installment to an established franchise (voting on either Kid Icarus or Pikmin 3)
-A new game that will utilize the Wii MotionPlus (could be the same game as the last bullet-point)
-Virtual Console for the DSi
-A couple of third-party games of mixed quality

And once again in a list format, here's what I think is unlikely to see from them.

-Announcement of the Mother/Earthbound games being released outside of Japan
-A new installment to the F-Zero/Star Fox series
-An announcement of Wii installment to the Zelda series (probably not until TGS at least)

Of course, you never truly know what Nintendo has planned for press conferences like these. For all we know, the lists I just made could be reversed, and Nintendo will have that living Pikmin that I joked about in a similar topic before.
