And I live here at the moment. Just letting everyone know I am fine, my neighborhood is fine, and my close family members are fine.

My house was not in the epicenter of the quake so it was not as apocalyptic as it could have been.

Its amazing how much a difference a couple of miles away from the epicenter could make. Because the places that were at the epicenter are practically destroyed.

Right I am going through the Aftershock phase and I don't know how long it will last.

I've seen some of the images. One of the natural land marks (a bit of cliff slicing into the ocian with a large whole in in) callapsed from it. Tells you how potent it was.

Hope you guys can put your lives back together soon.

The punishment our Brethren continually go through is devastating.

Thank you for letting us know that you're safe. Hopefully the government will not be too busy with all this stupidity to be there for you as we should be.

I'm also glad you are ok. Hurricanes and now earthquakes, starting to wonder if locusts are before or after rivers of blood? Where I live we have recently had earthquake issues... we basically never had any and then suddenly over a half dozen years ago we started having about one a week (coincidentally about the same time we started disposing of fracking wastewater in "deep wells.") It has all but subsided now (coincidentally just after we put restrictions on injection wells,) but it was never 6 or higher magnitude here. Our worst barely caused much damage, nothing even close to what hit in Puerto Rico.

It's like it's just one shitty situation after another for Puerto Rico. Be safe and best of luck to you.

Also, I honestly didn't even know this had happened before I saw this thread. There's basically been nothing about it in local news media. I had to go looking for it, finding only a single article from one newspaper about that natural landmark saint of m mentioned above.

I am still here guys. Yesterday morning was a 5.9 Quake, but I am still here and my house is still here.

I am amazed I still have electricity and internet after that one.
