I just got back from the last day of Emerald City Comic-con. A good time was had by myself and my party for the three days of the convention. Money was spent, comics were acquired and prints were procured. Yet there was something lacking in the ephemeral essence of this year's expedition. We went to panels and watched Alan Tudyk play dinosaurs with a child cos-playing as Wash nonetheless it felt as if the ECCC wasn't reciprocating the excitement we felt about it. The panels were lack-luster, not very broad in an array of subjects and there wasn't enough substance. But if all goes well for the next year we'll have a booth and a panel. Gotta be the change I want to see. Looking forward to seeing you all at jet city and stumptown comic-cons respectively.
