Stumbled across this recently:

Gotta say, I'm mildly fascinated. It's nice to see a game trying to innovate with its AI.

On the other hand a game that revolves around exploiting the AI could easily lend itself to finding one trick that works then breezing through the whole game. For example, I heard someone played a round only walking backwards and then in the next round the enemies could only walk backwards, rendering them almost blind. They would need to ensure that the objectives and level design forced the player to mix things up.

Also, the animation is a bit rough and something about the protagonist's visual design irritates the hell out of me.

Anyone getting a 2001 vibe from this? The rectangular space station (like a monolith) that houses a sterile environment meant to imitate human designs?

That aside, looks really impressive, both in terms of graphical fidelity and in concept.

Looks interesting, but I don't think there will be any diversity in environments which is a shame. The one location is good though.

Also, holy shit, if the entire game is only going to have a single character model that's used everywhere that model has to be fucking amazing and 100% on point... which it isn't, unfortunately.

Well, it caught my attention, but its high concept seems ambitious enough that I have to question the devs' ability to deliver it. If memory serves, Shadow of Mordor made similar (albeit somewhat lesser) claims about adaptive enemies and that one left me disappointed. Still, if they succeed that's the kind of innovation that can make ripples in the industry.

Oh cool, I'd not seen this.
Yeah it looks like an interesting idea and that's enough to get me on board these days.

If I have the money to buy it when it comes out, I probably will. If not, I'll wait for general opinion.

Very cool concept, but maybe it will become boring after a while you are facing only an AI Clone of yourself all the time.
If it is cheap, then for sure I will try it.

It's interesting, though I'm skeptical about how well it will work. Inevitably, there will be things it cannot understand or adapt to. And people will find them, and post them on the internet, and the weaknesses of the AI will be impossible to ignore once you know what they are.

Looks very cool, but the question is for how long. Enemy variety will certainly be a problem, and the environments while neat might start to drag eventually, too.

It also looks like you can mash yourself out of an enemy's grip, so doesn't that negate the enemies getting smarter and you having to outsmart them?

If the atmosphere is right and the challenge is real then seeing the same old environments and fighting the same enemy over and over again won't be a problem. It wasn't a problem for SUPERHOT.

Character design is a bit of an overkill though. It should be simplified.

From what I've gathered you can button-mash your way free from a single attacker (don't ask me how she overpowers an exact copy of herself) but if two or more gang up on you you're done. Also they will try to stealth attack you from behind if they see you doing it.

They just had to throw in quick-time events. Well it's an interesting little idea, but that's all it seems like, because how will it change up other than facing improving clones in a hospital all the time?

It seems like a cool concept... for a more varied game. As it is now it feels a bit like a tech demo rather than a fully rounded experience. But then maybe it's the detailed designs that are giving it the impression of being a triple-A title, when really it's just a small Journey/Inside like deal. I would kill for something like this in an Assassin's Creed or The Last of Us though.

It seen interesting but I am wondering how advance the AI is since it look like being random is key for a certain point.

Also what's up with the female protagonist hair? It look like whipped cream!!
