Well, this is it Escapists. My life's gotten super busy and I don't have the time I used to to laze around on Escapist, so I'm shutting my account down. I realize that this doesn't really warrant a discussion, but, I figured I'd go out with a flash. Also, P.M. me if you want another way to stay in contact with me, be it vague interest, or some darker suspicious reasoning...

So tell me Escapists, for the last time, what have you stepped away from in your life? Be it a habit, bad relationship, addiction, whatever. Anything you've decided it was time to walk away from.

Yesterday after years of having long hair I finally had a hair-cut... despite a day of having a freezing head I'm generally pleased with the result

All the things I've walked away from in my life have been good things =/

Piano, tennis, working hard at school.

So yeah...bleh.

Bad mates, as it were. As in, bad influences.
Trying to walk away from depression at the moment too, I suppose. BUT I SHANT GET METAPHORICAL AND DEEP.

I walked away from learning to drive. I may return at some point but I had progressed well and was then given a new instructor (the old one no longer works for that company) who left me feeling like shit and completely restarted me. So instead of driving around confidently as I had been, I was spending the next 4 lessons turning left and right. It was frustrating and I hated the guy, so I took the decision to walk away and mooch lifts off everyone else.

Probably not. With the marriage and the baby on the way I'm gonna be working a lot, plus I go on active duty in a little while...
But like I said, shoot me a PM for other ways to stay in contact with me.
