Ender's Game and Vid Games

I've liked Ender's Game for awhile, and it's not until recently that I've realized exactly how many gamers love EG. Why is that? Is it purely because of Battle School?

Also, has anyone read Ender in Exile yet (the new EG sequel).. it's supposed to be Ender as a teenager...

I like it because of Ender's 'do anything to win' pragmatism and the ending which gave rise to the 'Ender's Game Strategy,' I.E. where you blitz all your units into a suicidal rush to take out the objective even though you know they will all die afterwards.

It's just a popular book/series. I know plenty of non-gamers who've read it. btw, it was my favorite series up until recently...yes, even the Bean spin-offs.

I love Ender's Game, the fact that Ender was an outcast for being a third and then destroying and entire alien race thinking he was just playing in a simulations of battle when he really was in control...frigging awesome.

Wow. I really started typing up a reply to that, but I had to restart, multiple times. My thoughts about that post can't really be summed up in any sort of words. Especially not words that won't bar me from that Morpheus badge.

I mean, using punctuation for letters in words like you're trying to break some sort of filter since it filters out half your working vocabulary (seriously, instead of "shitty," you could use, "boring," "uninteresting," "unenjoyable," "bad," "low-quality," and I'm sure if given enough time, I could fill at least half a page with substitutes), misspelling words, using the wrong words, using dumb ways to describe a book you haven't even read, insulting a book in a thread that'll pretty much be filled only with people who like it. Wait, I think I may have done it. My monitor literally excreted liquid idiocy from the location of that post on my screen. That shit's hard to wipe off, too.

Also, genetically bread, yes. Genetically, it's bread, I dunno about the rest...
