Enjoying the New and Expanded Escapist Magazine

A few months have passed since the Escapist expanded the site with new sections and design, and I wanted to take a brief moment to express how much I am enjoying the changes and additions. I have grown especially fond of the Tabletop and Science & Technology sections (in addition to Video Games), the additional Podcasts, Video and Twitch feeds, and have caught myself spending a lot more time on the Escapist than previously.

I may still spend most of my time just reading/watching/listening content rather than commenting or participating in community discussions, but I have found Escapist staff and contributors to be pleasantly accessible through messaging and social media, and I am definitely enjoying the dialogue.

Thank you to Greg Tito, Alex Macris and the rest of the Escapist team. Keep up the good work!

I kinda miss the older layout, but the utility added from having the sections clearly labeled and accessible using the tabs is pretty great. I guess overall I agree with you Rangarig, the new expanded layout is pretty great.

I will agree as well in saying that I like how everything is organised into different sections, Of course I spend most of my time on the video games tab but being able to click on any other tab and have everything relevant filtered in is pretty helpful.

I don't care. I only watched Zero P and Top 5, and now it's just Zero P. Don't use any of the tabs on the upper part of the screen.

My increased enjoyment of the Escapist also comes from the increased coverage of tabletop games, science & technology and related topics compared to a more sparse coverage beforehand. The fact that there are now dedicated Senior Editors for these areas is really encouraging. The fact that this is coupled with a pleasant redesign of the site is a real boon.

Regardless, I like the redesign, as well as the widened drop-down menus for groups and other info. It's good to be able to see six now instead of just four.

Asking Kross why he would want to trick someone is like asking why a hurricane destroyed your house. They are simply being true to their own natures.

OT: The new format did take a little getting used to, but I must say it has grown on me.
