I have a feeling there might be some heavy sarcasm at the ending sentence there Bob.

Edit: I managed to get the first comment? Holy Crap that's weird.

So...it's time to insert an irritating character, who was our of place even in the comics, who will be played by an inevitably awful young Shia LeBouf wannabe, or perhaps the man himself to utterly ruin and destroy the 3rd Batman movie?
You want proof they're trying to put him in everything? They want him to play Yorick in the Y: The Last Man movie. Let me repeat that:
THEY WANT SHIA LEBOUF TO PLAY YORICK BROWN IN A Y: THE LAST MAN MOVIE!

So can we not fuck up a good thing?

I remember hearing that Christian Bale said he would never make a Batman movie that includes Robin, so I don't think we're going to be getting him anytime soon.

I was kind of hoping this would be good, instead of something to kill time until Iron Man 2.

I am surprised Bob would want to introduce Robin on the basis "it will make you money" when part of Nolan's Batman films is they have integrity to the character and have not thrown in villains for merchandise, but to fit narratives.

Robin should only be in the next Batman if it makes sense to the characters and story, not to sell toys.

It's pronounced "gair-ish". Other than that, good review with none of that "oh, look, we have some time left" business (which is fine occasionally, but I saw it being used three times in a row, bad form Moviebob)

...

Really? Plastic nipples? Wow...

OT: Huh, I expected the film to be satirical... Ah well, guess now I get to save $12 or so.

Also, Moviebob doesn't condone the cool crime of sneaking into higher-rated movies ;)

They'd have to make Robin..."Kick-Ass".

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAH!
I highly doubt they'll ever reintroduce Robin after that horrible one with Clooney

I guess this is one bird...who flew the coop

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

OT: Never heard of this film before

Will never hear from it again

Well, there's already a bit of an introduction for Robin, since Batman does save some young kid in Batman:Begin.

But tbh, what makes Hit Girl such a hot topic is that she's everything Robin isn't...

Heh while I'm big fan of Dick Grayson, I think making the Robin/Hit girl comparaison is a wrong one

Hit girl a psycho creepy little girl

Robin is meant to keep Batman grounded

They are too different character

but nice review

Was really hoping that The Losers would be good, but at least the comic I bought won't go to waste. It's actually a pretty good comic, it's a pity the movie ain't.

And I agree with MovieBob. The Dark Knight left off with Batman taking the fall for Harvey's death after barely surviving going head to head with the most dangerous criminal in Gotham. It would actually be a good time for Batman to look for a possible replacement/pet the dog character to keep him from going too far over the deep end.
I doubt Nolan would allow the Robin character to be abused the same way Schumacher did.

Also, even though Heath Ledger is gone, there is still a possibility in bringing back the Joker.

Harley Quinn.

It's a good idea, Kick-Ass has showed it's possible, maybe soon it'll be time, but for now, no, I don't think The Boy Wonder is right just yet.

The recent Batman movies would probably work great with a Robin like Jason Todd or Damian Wayne rather then Dick Grayson, but since they seem to want to stay as true to the canon as possible... yeah. Plus the scaly panties and elf shoes are hard to take seriously and probably impossible for film.

The Losers sounds like a great flick to rent someday, might try it when it hits iTunes.

What?! They call it "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"?
Why? What's up with that, it's suppose to be "Men Who Hate Women".
please tell me, I don't want to figure it out with my prejudices and all.

There's a film coming out named The Expendables that looks to be going at the action movie parody, well reading that the cast is made up of 80's and 90's action stars (and Jason Statham) I think I may check that one out. As for this movie, I hadn't heard of it, which means one of two things:

1) Not out in Britain yet.
2) Really bad marketing.

No, because it has never happened.

You read me?
It Never Happened.

OT: Pretty interesting, though, and it removes any of my plans to see a film I wasn't planning on seeing and haven't seen advertised in the UK.
