It's well known that a lot of people use forums as a form of escapism.

Escapism is seeking distraction from reality by using a form of entertainment or fantasy.

What are you escaping from?

I'm escaping from revision. I've recognised a pattern from a long time ago and still nothing has changed. The only thing that forces me to do revision, coursework and homework are deadlines. E.g. Tests coming up in a few days or coursework deadlines. For me revision is a test of endurance. I can handle 3 days unless the deadlines are close by.

I remember using MMORPG's (Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplay Games) too. All they are good for is escapism. Never ending games lol.

I was thinking maybe if you wanna go back to the real world then we could help each other out. You can, of course use forums and revise at the same time.

Went to see The Institution then some band called Kappa for like, 3 hours. But by the time I went to the secong gig I kinda just slept from drunkeness.

Went to see The Institution then some band called Kappa for like, 3 hours. But by the time I went to the secong gig I kinda just slept from drunkeness.

I just put some The Instituion on grooveshark and I can safely say I like it so far.
You should've seen that Kiss concert. Before Kiss actually played, 4 other bands had their 90 minute gigs: Molotov (Mexicam "rock" band. It's a rather unique style, pretty good live), Massacre, Las Pelotas (typical Argentine rock) and Ratones Paranoícos (Rolling Stones in Spanish). So, after 6 hours of moshing, the next day I discovered at least 20 bruises all over my legs and chest. Well, "the next day" isn't quite right. I slept right through the next day, so it was the day after.

That sounds like an awesome gig ^^ Yerr, I have a huge bruise on my arse which is making me sit down rather awkwardly, along with a lot of scratches on my chest and countless bruises on the rest of my body. Worth it though.
