Escapist hacked?

So ya, I a friend of mine told me Minecraft was hacked by LulzSec, so I did some research to see if he was telling the truth. That is when I stumbled upon this article:

It says The Escapist was hacked. This may be old news, but is this ture? Is my info safe? Also, am I the last one to know about this?

I think The Escapist was just DDoS'd, nothing mayor. Then again, I wasn't paying too much attention.

I kid! I kid 'cos I love! It was DDoS:ed, you're info is probably quite safe, and if you used the search bar you could probably find many a thread talking about it. The search bar is your friend!
