After the might victory of the first game to team Red due to a surprise attack here is round 2!
After the landslide victory of the last game to team Purple here is round 3!

Basic teams for my first tug of war thread.

All users over 1,500 posts in team GREEN. They are going higher

All users under 1,500 posts or over 15,000 posts in team PURPLE. They are going lower

How it works

We start at 500.
A user that has under 1500 posts would post 499
A user that has over 1500 posts would post 501

Continue posting the higher or lower number of the person above you until you win.

First team to reach their goals- 0 for unders- 1000 for overs, respectively Wins

RULES - new ones:

1. No swapping sides!

It confuses new players joining halfway though and me keeping track of the games progression. Do not do it. You are on the side dictated by your post count!

2. No spam posting

You may post as many times as you want but only if someone else has posted after you.

i.e. No posting 3 times in a row to help your side

3. Teams and -25 points rule:

Given there are more people with post counts above 1500 this is a rule for fairness.

If you pass 1500 post count you change sides however to make things interesting the number goes down 25 points every time a new person changes teams. so if the number is 800, and then a player crosses 1500 post count the score goes down to 775!

Have fun. And feel free to make general off topic discussion while playing. Just remember to add your number in the post

6. To help soloists the power -3 or +3 rule:
Sometimes you may find yourself the only person on your team with no one helping. To even the odds if your team goes 6 posts without anyone else posting for your team you can deduct/add the score by 3! so you could go from 500 t0 497! This ability will remain in effect for 3 posts, then you returns to normal posting. If however for another 6 posts you are still alone you get the +/- 3 power again! However when another team member joins the ability automatically stops!

5. Reaching 0 or 1000:

To avoid hundreds of tug'o'war threads what happens is when there are enough posts to change the page of the thread from the one on which the game is won i.e. page 90, someone reaches 0 or 1000, then on page 91 someone posts one up or one down from 0 or 1000, with same rules but the goals being 500 or 1500, or -500 or 500 respectively

I think you should make users who have over 15K post lower as well, Claymorez.
Just to make it a bit more balanced. Most FGs regulars have gotten way over 1K anyway.

Is it just me or is the -25 point rule gonna cause all kinds of hell?
