Eternal Darkness and other games that turn your pants brown

I was just remenising on a friends gamecube when he showed me that he had Eternal Darknes.This sparked fond yet terrifying memories for me of not being able to sleep without the light on and a torch in my hand for a week due to the mind fuck that was the storytelling. Anyway on that note I was wondering if anyone had played any other games of similar brown trouser inducing horror?

I had that. One week after I got Left 4 Dead I went to Germany on a school trip. Of course with me & my dad both playing it we started to expect zombies to come sprinting towards us at any minute as we drove down the deserted roads at 3am.

In Thief 3- The Deadly Shadows, there's one particular level that's just downright terrifying.
It's called the Cradle, and it's set in a former orphanage which became an insane asylum. Fucking scary stuff.
