On my '5' key there's the symbol for euros in the lower right hand corner, and I have yet to figure out how to type it.

It's pissing me off!

Help is appreciated.

As for a discussion topic, has there ever been something so simple, yet you wracked your brain for ages trying to come up with an explanation or solution to it?

EDIT: It's a QWERTY keyboard.

Solved, I suppose.

Ignore and move on.

Hold Alt Gr when you type. Sorted.

EDIT: Oh sorry, I didn't see the added discussion factor. Errmmm...yeah I'm sure there is, I just can't think what.

You could just use one of These

It has the Euro sign and more, that help?

As for the new discussion, I would have to saymoving my foot, no my other foot!
(Sometimes when I twist my legs around each-other like a twizzler I forget which foot is which, and end up having trouble figuring out how to move my foot)

Doesn't work.

I can't type at all if I hold it.

I'm sure it would help, but I'm asking how to type the one on my keyboard. It seems pointless, but it's important to me, dammit!

Try the ASCII code: ALT-0128. Usually, you must use the ALT key on the left of the spacebar, and while you hold it down, you press 0128 on the keypad on the right. Result: ?

OK, I see. It probably depends of the regional settings of your system. If you're "English US" all the way, you probably won't be able to type the sign. You'll have to switch to an European setting.

It's probably alt or ctrl.
Alt+5=nothing

Regional settings. Look, if I had a Russian keyboard, but with the setting I currently have on Windows "French (Canada)", there's no way I would be able to type the special characters with CTRL-, SHIFT- or ALT-.

As long as you stay with the regional setting you have, you won,t be able to type the euro sign.
