In August of 2019, a girlfriend of Anthony Quinn Warner told Nashville police that she suspected Warner “was building bombs in the RV trailer at his residence.” The woman was then taken by ambulance for a psychological evaluation while authorities ignored the bomb information, claiming after the Christmas Day bombing that destroyed several blocks in downtown Nashville that Warner “was not on our radar.”

An attorney who represented both Warner and the woman in a civil case contacted authorities in August because he was concerned for her safety, according to The Tennessean, and when police arrived at her home, she was sitting on the porch with two unloaded weapons: “‘She related that the guns belonged to a ‘Tony Warner’ and that she did not want them in the house any longer,’ MNPD spokesman Don Aaron said in a statement to The Tennessean.”

She went on to tell responding officers that Warner had been making comments about bombs and was potentially assembling explosives in his R.V., later identified to be the same one used in the explosion. The attorney, Raymond Throckmorton III, then told officers that he was concerned for her safety and supported her claims that Warner had talked frequently about explosives and the military, police reports from the time show. But now police say that they “saw no evidence of a crime and had no authority to enter his home or fenced property” in a statement about the incident, additionally claiming Throckmorton advised Warner to deny officers permission to search his R.V.

The report was then given to a “hazardous devices unit” and passed along to the FBI, though no follow-up appears to have come from the passing of the information. Meanwhile, both the police and Throckmorton say that the woman was experiencing a “mental health crisis” and sent her, not Warner, who did not answer the door for police according to the report, for a psychological evaluation.

Authorities had ample advance warning, didn't do anything?

Well, it's unusual he only killed himself and didn't kill anyone else, but otherwise, same old.

In the authorities defense, Warner isn't Black or Brown.

How were they supposed to know that he was actually building bombs? Investigate it? They did investigate! He wasn't brown or black, therefore he's clean 😅

Someone literally told the feds he was already most of a McVeigh and they did nothing. I don’t think this bodes well assuming that these guys become the new norm for rw domestic terrorism (which many experts are calling likely).

Now, now, folks. We all know that in American vernacular, "terrorist" only applies to brown people. White people who kill us en masse are "confused patriots".

Ok, it should be pointed out that while the feds are typically very bad, they’re generally pretty ok at catching and stopping terrorists that fit a profile which is a minimum of ten years out of date. They do in fact do a decent job of catching a lot of mini-McVeighs, they just have to be nearly identical to McVeigh. The reason they suck here is that they may not see the connection between 5g corona conspiracies and Nazi conspiracies.

I guess he didn't like the song "Bad Company" off the album "Bad Company" by the band "Bad Company" so he couldn't have planning a bombing.

Yeah it’s effectively more like this than specifically his race, though obviously that’s a factor.

This isn't even a first time to feds nor secret service have done something like this. Ignoring somebody's warning. I remember back in 2009 around Christmas an African terrorists almost blew up an airplane that was going to take off in Detroit. The reason it didn't go off is because he set the bomb up wrong and set himself on fire. Thankfully, the plane was already on the ground and people swarmed him and put the fire out on him at the same time. His father warned the secret service and the FEDS multiple times, and a response was will take it under advisement. He gave them name face any places he could be and they didn't listen almost lost due to negligence.

If I were the conspiratorial type, I could see how the feds may have intentionally caught and released him so that the higher ups would have to let them go after Qanon and other RW conspiracy types. It does all fit together particularly neatly, especially when you consider the lack of casualties and the fact that for some reason he setup his bomb a couple blocks away from his actual target. That being said, there’s no actual evidence of this and no functional difference between them being dumb or heinous in terms of how it will impact their behavior long term. No real point in diving deep down that line of thinking aside from simply understanding that it is the sort of thing the feds are willing to do.

Oh, he also believes lizardmen/aliens did 9/11 and faked the moon landing.

Honestly, him being from some more positive side of the alien believer community explains more of the particulars here than any conspiracy. He’s not antisocial so he had connections to get supplies and the cops assumed he was a decent guy because he was white and a participant in society. Fuck, the fact it was his girlfriend reporting him may have been enough to demolish their profile, since it means he had a girlfriend and therefore does not fit the profile.
