My exam results are due tomorrow (today if you applied for them to be texted to you), and I am genuinely bricking it. I made a similar thread last year, I remember feeling nothing but contempt for the SQA, who decide our grades, until the results came in and I did sickeningly well. I have no idea if I'll do as well this year, but I do know that these are the ones that count. So, to take my mind off of the anxiety, why don't you share your own exam experiences, what grades did you get? I'll make sure to update this thread as soon as I find out my own results. How did you feel, did you get into the course you wanted? any major disasters?

The last time I had exams, I got all A's on my results, which was surprising for how I usually do, and I dropped out of college right after that (for the second time). They to this day are still calling me and sending me stuff in the mail to try to get me to come back for another semester for some reason.

I get mine in two weeks.
This is going to make me anathema on an..erm..forum concerned with the more intellectual pursuits, but I think I failed a good portion of my subjects. Things that a borderline retard could have tackled.
This might ruin a very meaningful relationship, too. Idiot-boy has dug a nice hole for himself.

I get mine in two weeks too and I am bricking it. If I don't get into uni it looks like it will be the army/navy/RAF for me.

I don't know when they're coming, or if they're coming. My school system is starting to put it on the Internet for individual viewing for the sake of saving money.

Nobody's judging. We'd probably hate the haters (if there were any).

Im not sure what country everyone is from, but i am assuming by exam that you mean some sort of Cap Stone final or something. My last final exam took place many years ago, my current school is online so for some reason i don't seem to be getting exams or pop quizzes like i was used to in my old College. But my last exam i had was towards my Computer Science Degree and it involved Microsoft PowerPoint. I was a little nervous because i didn't know if the proctor (no textbook basically) exam was all multiple choice, prac-app or both...but come to find out it was all multiple choice so i passed with a 75 or something i dont remember it was a long time ago.

Mine are due on 19th. I'll be on holiday. I'm really not bothered just yet.
Hopefully I'll do well.

My ideal career is to be a doctor, but I need 6 A's at just GCSE level, it looks like I will be getting five :(

just to say, don't worry about it at all, at A-level I got A's in maths, physics and chemistry, and I'm earning about £12,000 a year at the moment, but my mate failed all his and he's on £48,000. Exams are not the be all and end all, especially a degree, it isnt worth the paper it's printed on

I was thrown out of uni, going in the navy as a rating. Believe me they will know if you're treating it as a last resort, and they will not take you. But if you go in enthusiastic and all they put you through uni.
Apologies if I got it wrong, just came across as though you were a bit down on the idea of the forces

I get straight A's, in the sense that A's here stand for achieved, I get the occasional merits too but I could care less for grades unfortunately, don't get me wrong they're important and probably wouldn't take much extra effort, but I'm lazy.

In Uni I'm currently receiving constant B+s though, so same shit different year.

Good luck on your exams!

No sir, you are correct. I hate the idea of the forces but it would seem to be my only option. Thanks for the advice too, it is appreciated.
