*Ahem* Don't f*cking blame me! ;-) I don't know why this should be....
I had my ME2 collector's edition ordered as soon as it was available, thank you!
EDIT - Unless you don't want the opinion of a 'bored housewife', of course?!

No, but there are an awful lot of families with the Wii and that's a lot of little girls who like dancing games.

Just Dance was budget priced (24.99 in GAME for chrissakes), was featured in some TV show, and was in demand by pretty much every housewife, tween(or younger) girl, and spread by word of mouth in a ridiculous fashion. It was out of stock every time it came back in, until two weeks ago that is, and it's still selling very well.

Also: It's for the entire UK, not just England. Please remember us Scots?

EDIT: let me also just say that Wii Fit Plus would be much higher if the version with the balance board wasn't consistently out of stock. Only people who currently have the old Wii Fit can get Plus, as Nintendo are under a huge amount of strain to produce the Balance Boards post-christmas

Well when you sell games at pennies people are gonna pick it up for "Their Kids" or their stupid drunken parties, and we all know those are better reasons for selling games than genuine story gameplay etc

That's hilarious, the PC version of Mass Effect 2 comes below Football Manager 2010, which was released ages ago.

Awww...Dante's Inferno actually did pretty well. I wanted that unoriginal game to do as it's ads say and...GO TO HELL.

Anyways, Wii games at the top of lists don't shock me anymore.

Wow.. maybe we underestimated the Wii.. lol.. And remember there are a lot of familes out there who want to get together and all that. I'm suprised, but not stunned.

I'm impressed that all 3 Avatar games are up there though. Its a game made after a movie and the gameplay looked kinda shitty to me.

Football Manager can't be bought on any alternative systems though. Most people don't have a gaming PC, and ME2 requires quite a bit higher specs than FM10.

EDIT:

and on looking at the list again:

TO those wondering why Super Smash Bros. is back in the chart: GAME are including it in their console packages lately. Ergo, most Wii's sold will boost the numbers of SSBB by one

Yeah Just Dance has been up there for weeks. I've no idea how it's selling so well, I've never seen it on an advert or in stores.

Yeah, and it's also one hell of an addictive game. I played up to FM08 - logged more hours into that thing than any other 'proper' game. Also, wait, I'm pretty sure they made a console version of the FM series... I remember the tool tips in FM08 saying things like "Use the left stick to select blah blah blah".

The hell is "Just Dance"? How is it that this is the first time I've heard of this 'game'?

I think there used to be (I know LMA manager 07 was on 360 for example) but there isn't (at least yet) for FM10.

@ those wondering about Just Dance: See my above post. It was featured in some TV show, and has been the request of every little girl since.

That's what makes it worse. It didn't just appear that as a random spike, it's been there consistently. That's wrong!

I think Ubisoft wanted to make more money, don't blame them for appealing to mums/girls in the UK, gives them a break from drinking on street corners and underage sex I suppose.
