Fable 3 issues on Xbox 360

I recently downloaded Fable 3 on Xbox 360, and I'm constantly having it lock up the system, crash just the game, or give me endless Disk Error messages even though there isn't a disk in the system. It isn't the only download game that's been freezing, as State of Decay have been locking up as well, but hasn't yet given me any disk errors yet. I can't tell if the system is overheating, and I've found other people with the same issue, but no fix yet. Has anyone else been having these issues as well?

I assume you're talking about the free copy of Fable III they gave to everybody this month. Yeah, it's been less than seamless on this end, too. Especially in Co-Op.

Frequent animation bugs, mostly. Sometimes it makes the game unplayable, with my Hero locked in a particular animation where she slides across the ground unable to attack or anything.

As of last night, I've been noticing some strange sound errors, too.

Yeah, the free copy the Gold members got.

I've yet to have any errors in gameplay itself, but certain action sometimes trigger the disk error, like petting the dog or ending combat, or merely zooming in on the map. What's weirder, the game is still functioning fine behind the pop-up, not freezing or anything. And co-op won't work for me either, as everyone is somehow playing a different version that I am. Any idea what's going on? I'm half tempted to borrow my friend's physical copy, just to see if it works better.

In order to play Co-Op, both players have to have the exact same amount of DLC (or lack thereof) downloaded.

Given how long the game has been out, I'm willing to bet people have downloaded at least some DLC.

And those I have, as well as the update to let me play with folks who have one of the paid DLCs. I've found around four joinable games, not that I could join them, it being buggy and crash-prone and all. Are we really the only ones with issues? Because I've yet to find any remotely helpful answers anywhere on the net. Most are some particular combo of delete stuff, then reinstall stuff, with a whopping 0% success rate.
