I doubt that will happen, considering people will ALSO have to buy that Project Natal thing.

Umm, what 360 exclusive title has sold over 5 million copies? Looking at VG Charts you have to be either part of the Halo or Gears Of War franchise to do that.
Not even the mighty Mass Effect 2 has achieved this yet.

And ME2 isn't even an exclusive.

I think it'll depend on how hyped people are about natal, seeing how natal is primarily gonan be focused on casual games (like teh wii) it may end up as LoZ:tp, one of teh few early good non-casual games on natal.

You don't need Natal to play Fable III. It's Natal compatible not Natal only.

I hope Fable III does sell 5 million copies. I'll be buying one of them anyway.

I would have said it couldn't be done. But if Natal somehow becomes the next big thing, then I suppose it is possible. That said, if Natal flops, the game will sell worse than its predecessors. I guess Lionhead's throwing everything behind Natal. Good luck to them, I say.

I'm wondering, when lionehad studios makes natal, why don't they make one of the most obviously games for it, Black & White, it's even their own (lionheads) IP.

The PC game can be played using only the mouse to imitate the hand thet represents you in-game, you cast spells with mouse gestures and everything, i think this could be a very strong game for natal.

My issue with this is that Peter M has always come across as driven for artistic appreciation of the games that his company makes not the sales figures.

Don't get me wrong, I believe that sales are important, it is just that normally we hear abut how players will benefit from this or that and how people will enjoy a certain aspect of the game not "to be a sucess X number of copies must be sold".

Too many people are influenced by other people into not buying games so this won't happen. People who can think for themselves will buy it though.

Just like Fable 2, I will not be buying Peters over hyped game. Fable 1 was a horribly balanced decent adventure game with more hype than most actual great games get.

Oh, Petey! It's been so long, I thought you'd stopped caring! Silly me. I should've known you'd never stop providing me with LOL-worthy statements. I'm sorry I ever doubted you, Petey.

Good luck with that one, Pete. Just don't cry too much when it NEVER HAPPENS.

Sorry to break it to ya, Pete, but this dream is just way too out there. Even for you.

I think most people forget that while Fable 2 wasn't particularly brilliant, it was a vast improvement to Fable 1. The third installment might be promising. Then again, I'm a firm believer that games (as long as they entertain) are worth the effort.

I think its quite possible it will, After all, With molenuex's bullshitting gland most likely giving out 300% of its usual output around release, People will lap it up, And then feel disappointed.

But im not saying it wont be a good game. Ive been proved wrong before.

At first I saw this story and immediately thought he was nuts (as usual), but if the user base of the 360 continues to grow until Fable 3 comes out, he might just find 5 million people who are still dumb enough to believe his hype (a.k.a. bullshit). Just saying.
