Some topics:

Rock Trolls (thanks Ivory Agent)

So you guys ever come across those rock trolls?
They're annoying as hell but they look awesome. So persistent, they'll never give up or desert you in a fight.
Characters (Thanks Michael_McCloud)
What does your Fable II Character look like?
Scar Removal (Thanks Erikaiht)

Yes, you can remove scars, you just need a big wallet. The Fairfax Castle's bed (requires game to be beat and 1,000,000 gold) will heal you of your scars when you sleep in it, and start a quest that allows you to change your gender.

The legendary Katana, is the easiest weapon to get in the game for free, and easily the best, making you more attractive, doing lightning damage, plus a damage boost. Three augments in total. From Garth's tower by the port cullis, a section of the wall has fallen, you can dive over it and land in the dungeon below, if it's blocked, you need to do more of the story. Go through it, the statue needs bloodthirsty growl. afterexiting, there is a chest on the ledge to the right that holds it.

Upon leaving the guild hall for the first time, there are bubbles in the lake across from the port cullis. diving there yields a potion of life, increasing your life by 50. When just beginning the game, this helps a lot.

An easy beginning weapon to get is the Hammerthyst, located behind the Oakfield Demon door. all you have to do is blow a kiss in front of the door (I believe this is available from the bookstore).

Listen for insults, it's usually a gargoyle calling you names, shoot it and shut it up.

Make sure you help out the light temple or shadow temple during the first part of the game, or you risk coming back to nothing.

Invest in Barnum in Crucible, for 5,000 he cleans up the place, allows you to buy the stoers, and pays you 15,000 in return!

So Fable. Anybody know how the pub game money gets given to you? Because if it starts like the last one where you have to learn the game by making a few coins, starting with a few grand may ruin it.
Also, is the magic any good in this one? I understand that you can just spam magic unlike the last game, but does it do anything compared to melee and shooting?

Phew, I thought I'd get showered with this game every day. Thank you sir wilson.

-and Kenny I think the combat is much more fluid no matter what you specialize in, and there are "charge attacks" in-case you suck too much to do damage anyway else.

You can work now. The 2 jobs I know of is as a blacksmith in Bowerstone Market and as an lumberjack in Oakvale-something.

And yeah, you can just spam your magic as much as you want, there's no magic-meter (Atleast not for me.. yet).

That's all I can think of right now. :R

This game is amazing so far. Small world, but that is most probably because I havent gotten past oakvale.

EDIT: I dont really have any problems with the game so far, but can somebody help me out? Do I really have to buy another house to get married? I cant just switch my existing house to the marital home? Number 2, how do I take people on dates? is there a certain expression? third, the same question as the last only with sex. fourth, are there a lot of side quests?

Sorry to ask so much, but so far these are the only gripes I have with the game and I woould like to resolve them. Oh, and to clarify, I am still on the quest to get renown in order to enter the temple of light. I know its not far, but this game makes you feel a lot farther than you acually are.

You can also be a bartender and bounty hunter. Or slave trader if you are evil. Very cool game so far, does anyone know if there is anything specific to make your wife want some whoopie? I get family messages saying she wants sex, then I come home and wait a half hour waiting for her to prompt me to give her the 'thumbs up'

I was very pleasantly ammused when I accidentally got the "Goth" achievment. I made a female character that I plan to be a mage/gunslinger, but she is going to be pure evil. So when I got to Bowerstone, I bought a corset and some nice long skirt and thigh high boots, I then put on black make-up and colored the primay color of the clothes black (secondary is orangeish red). She looks really bad ass, and then the "Goth" achievment poped up. I about fell off my fraking chair laughing. Best Surprise Achievment Ever.

And Jamesc, I have the same questions you do. I haven't even gotten to Oakvale yet, I'm still plundering Bowerstone and doing comunity service for assassinating people for money.

Fable 2: A fantamajabulous game, but one little quarrel: Why the hell was it released in America 2 days before Britain - where it was made? Doesn't make much sense to me really.

P.S: Any answers saying 'cuz we am teh besterest and you suck bawls lol' will earn my Seal of Ignorance (c)

P.P.S: Sorry if that offended anyone, but if you were offended by that then I guess it would describe you, so...

My input:

Fable 2 must come out for Windows. Vista exclusive or not, I don't care.

The wood cutting job is in Oakfield not Oakvale

but yes so far awesome game, I've actually spent a lot of time just running around Bowerstone finding things.

One thing I have noticed is that you get fat a lot easer anymore. Munch a pie or two to heal and you can already start to see it, and despite the fact that I run everywhere I can't loose the weight :(.

I also have a bit of trouble with my "bread crumb" trail not always keeping up with me at a full run, or sometimes randomly appearing behind me (then when you turn around to goes back to the direction it should be in).

I can forgive the little things though.

Also if you don't want to wait around for your wife to ask for sex you have to buy the expression book from the store in Bowerstone market. its called " come hither my love " or some such.

I have heard a lot of people say it sucked but when I actually looked at it and heard you guys (or gals...) talk about it I am seriously thinking about buying an XBox 360 just for the game.
Is that a bad idea?

I haven't heard it sucks, but buying a 360 just for Fable II probably isn't a good idea, there are lots of other good games, plus, when Fallout 3 comes out it looks to have some entertaining achievements(Psychotic Prankster:p)

I've heard Fable II has some pretty good achievements too, like killing a small innocent bunny

No, bad. You must be careful with what you say, as you may just inadvertently spark a console war. Also I love the idea of slave trader. That's a real mans job.

I hate you all so much. I am busy sharpening my sword in order to kill Peter Molyneux. Why? Because it hasn't been released in Britain yet! Lets see you gab on about how good it is with 12 feet of steel in your lungs Mr. Molyneux!

OK, I'm done. I just needed to vent slightly.
