After going through the last Fable thread about your characters, I popped Fable: TLC into my 360. After getting to the end of the game, I decided to take a look at what this game did for me.

What really made this game good for me was that as you became more good or evil, your appearance changed. That, coupled with a free-range world, really got me into this game and looking past it's flaws. (stated below)

What really killed it was the glitchy load screens, random freeze ups, strange non-stop blocking from enemies, and the various kind of troll's battle style. '

Of course, the original Fable's short gameplay sucked... But TLC is pretty good. Except I have to kill Jack again and get halfway through the Northern Wastes AGAIN... Because my game froze. AGAIN.

Either way, I'm exicted about Fable 2. I hope it's all been fixed.

Anyhooooo... What do you all have to say? Does Fable add to the hype for Fable 2 or kill it?

Fable adds to the hype of course. It continues the story blah blah blah. Fable 2 is also "We fixed Fable 1"

Wasn't as good as i expected, but it kinda gave some closure. There was all this talk about Northern Wastes and it was kinda nice to explore it.
The necropolis was probably the highlight for me.

I found fable to be a fun and quirky little game with interesting characters and a story, and I enjoyed the juxtaposition of the cartoony graphics with the serious storyline. I also thought the main villain was both deliciously creepy, it was difficult to determine his morality right away, and the last battle was suitably difficult because I wasn't a game maxing wanker who slaughtered hundreds of people for Skorms bow. Also I liked killing Maze.

Game sort of fell off after that- ie, everything in Lost Chapters. The Climax was meh.

If taken as just a fun action game, and if you didn't bugger with the gimped magic system or ranged combat, it had some astounding moments- the first trip through Darkwood and the fights with the Balverines had suitable... feel.

Alas they didn't try to MAKE a fun action RPG, they tried to make Jesus the game and at that they failed miserably.

You know the freezing is just because you're playing it on a 360. i can play TLC on my old xbox no problem. But it'll freeze after an hour or so of play on my 360.
Edit: And i enjoyed fable immensely. I was able to overlook all the bad design choices and silly escort quests and just go on a lovely power trip through oakvale, killing all in my way. Marvelous.

I Found fable a good RPG and i didnt know of TLC untill a mate of mine was selling it and he told me about it so i bought it from him.

TLC was ok but the qeust was to short for my likeing and the words "northen wastes" just made me think of World of warcraft:WOTLK.

Overall TLC is a good little expansion and it was rewarding to know that it helped the non-evil players at some points (avos tear).
