This game actually begins very interesting. Your character murdering someone and hiding the evidence. That's great! It tells a nice story, its immersive and its fun. Until around the museum chapter of course. After that the plot gets up its own ass with Mayan prophecies and super ninjas. That's retarded. It really disappointed me so much because I was getting hooked on the "murder someone and evade the cops" part of the game. It was ruined for me.

I don't like the idea of all the pre-animated QTE sequences either. Its like having a bunch of bright colors and beeping sounds pop up while your watching a stupid movie in the background. It might as well not even be a game.

The bottom line is that a game made almost entirely out of QTE doesn't work for me. It was cool and immersive in the beginning but then everything got fucked.

Editing: You need to provide more reason! A larger consensus, maybe pictures?

Also, spoiler tags wouldn't hurt. Its old, but its still something someone might want to pick up and play...

one thing i hated about the story was that it really wasn't a mystery, unlike heavy rain where you're trying to figure out who the killer is you already know who it is and it takes a lot of fun out of the story.

Loved it. I loved the story until it got screwy around 2/3 in, I loved the QTE, since there's not a lot of those out there and I grew up when Dragon's Lair was spakin new and oh so expensive (like 8 tokens at Chuck E Cheese) so I have a certain appreciation for such games. The atmosphere was great, the adult nature (both thematically and sexually) were welcome as not all gamers are children that shun such things, and I loved the darker art direction it took. I'm also a HUGE fan of doomsday stories.

I'm in the minority, I know, but I can't help how I feel. Great game.
