Learn to spell, seriously.

OT: The Thing failed horribly; the secret is that every NPC is infected, but only when the game decides.

Yup, that was the first thing I thought of when I saw this thread. It was like they took a solid game and riddled it with mechanics that were designed to make the game too annoying to play.

Well, I would have to say Prototype. I loved the game but there were far too many explosions which ruined the fighting systems and I thought that the funnest attacks were pretty much useless, and no attack is really used much after you get the blade arm drop thingy. Those are things in games which I hate. And because once you finish the game, it doesn't matter how many hives and stuff you destroy, they always come back, which pissed me off cause I just wanted to free roam with being tackled by hunters and shot down by tanks, as it really ruins my murderous rampages.

So, I loved the game but there were so many things that just ruined the game.

You hit the nail on the head, the game had so much potential but was the biggest fail of my gaming library.

fable 1 it self i would class as a fail lol

the game that i think is my all time fail was true crime it really went down when it went from being a typical cop action movie style game to a wierd supernatural thing it just made me feel abit confussed and feel wait a min did the people who made this game get bourd half way through and try to make a completely different game when you half way through

BlazBlue. Supposedly the spiritual successor to the amazingly tight Guilty Gear games, but it turned out to be a gimmick fest rivialing the Wii motion controls and replaced the genuinely unique rock and roll characters and setting with a generic anime-inspired theme.

Zelda: Majora's Mask. And, well, every Zelda game after Zelda 64. Perhaps the best thing about ignoring all the other games after Zelda 64 is that you only have one game bollocksing up the timeline.

Stranglehold PS3 version. Full of so many bugs I thought my PS3 was broken including a particularly nasty sound bug.

The Adventures of Bayou Billy. This game could have been classic. Instead, it fell flat on its face right at the first level. Horrid brawler controls destroy this game.

I thought Far Cry 2 was actually pretty good. I even finished it three times. Sure, I hated to eliminate every outpost again and again. But the atmosphere was amazing.

The Force Unleashed had a lot of potential, but they screwed it up by just recycling the environments. Plus it was a short game.

Halo 3 also didn't live up to the expectations.

No. But speaking it aloud summons the beast! You fool, you've doomed us all!

Meh, I wouldn't say so. But then again, it's all an opinion. The balance does get a bit shit-faced if you haven't leveled up Frank high enough by
the time that the Special Forces arrived.

Fable 2- Bad morality system, stupid story, idiotic copy-pasted NPCs.
[Prototype]- Sub par graphics, repetitive gameplay, constant interruptions to my rampages.
Wheelman- Horrid graphics, terrible story and controls, zero customization, NO JUMP BUTTON.

Killzone 2. Too much hype for a really bad game. Yes graphics are good but everything else is horrible. But that is my opinion, bring on the fanboys
