That has officially ruined my day and it is only 9.50am

No Mr Crocker, dodgy storyline, director who knows squat about the original TV show....

I have died a little inside.

That picture is all wrong! Where are the oversized beaver teeth? The disproportioned head that all of the kids have? Damnit you can't just make a "live-action" movie out of anything Nickelodeon it has to resemble the show in more ways than "some of the characters names are still present". You're also telling us you are not going to have Mr. Crocker spazzing out saying "FAIRY GOD PARENTS!!!".

Without the guy doing this:

It is not a "Fairly Odd Parents" anything.

I believe not even the appearance of Jorgen Von Strangle (played by Arnold Schwarzenegger) could redeem this project. They need to stop this lunacy, right now.

Oh god... it'll be a live action Spongebob Squarepants movie next.

I don't hate live action adaptations by any means but the storyline and overall tone has to match the source material.

Just look at what happened to Thunderbirds...

ARGH! It's meant to be Rolls Royce, not FORD! And that wasn't even the worst part of that ridiculous movie!

*vomits* This is even worse than a live action Smurfs movie. Kudos for coming up with a worse idea; that takes talent.
They're making a live action smurfs movie (Wait, you already knew that. Well, I'm not changing my post now). Actually, it's CGI, but it seems to be set in New York, so there may be unfortunate scenes of smurfs talking to real people other than Gargamel. And I'm sure all the 'Avatar 2' jokes have already been made, so I won't bother.

OT: There is no way in which this can be a good thing. I quite enjoyed Fairly Odd Parents when I was younger, but I can't see a live action adaptation working at all.

I LOVED this show.

But as a movie? I don't think that's going to work. But I'll be happy to be proved wrong.

WHAT!? HOW!? WHY!?

Seriously, how would any one turn this into a live-action film? How is all the animated slapstick into it? And how the hell did they get that guy do dress up in an all pink outfit!?

What part of our childhoods will be ruined next? Will there be a Ren and Stimpy movie next? A Dexter's Lab one?

What?! Companies would never just try to make money by reusing ideas in horrible ways! Its like some of them havn't had anything new or original in years and have been riding off of the dust of their predecesors! My perseption of reality has just been completely broken! No one could possibly think this was a good idea

Good freakin' golly!

They can't even wait a few years for nostalgia to develop before destroying happy memories?! What, are studios running out of old childhoods to devastate and now require fresh ones?
