That's what I did. Not really my type of games though, so I haven't played them much.

Baldur's Gate looks leagues better, especially 2 which has high-res artwork. Diablo 1 is a fair comparison though.Lonator said:I got 1&2 recently, havent tried 2 yet, and only played 1 for 20min, but its a good game once you figure out what your doing. Only thing is the graphics are very dated, probley equivelent to Baldur's gate or diablo. But if your like me and don't care about graphics, you should like it.
I got that too, such an awesome deal.Cpt_Oblivious said:Look in the Bargain Bin of your local gaming shop. I know White Label do a Fallout, Fallout 2 and Fallout Tactics in one box, I got it for £10.
Baldur's Gate and Fallout 2 use the same engine dont they? <.<The Madman said:Baldur's Gate looks leagues better, especially 2 which has high-res artwork. As for Fallout 1&2, keep in mind they're pretty much completely different games than the third one. Much harder and with an emphasis on character development and dialogue. Unlike in Fallout 3, in 1 and 2 you simply *can't* make a super awesome 'good at everything' character. There just aren't enough resources for it! And yet in 1 and 2 your stats also have much more of an effect, with whole new dialogue and options opening up to players with the right high stats. This forces players to specialize and pay much more attention to how they want to continue playing the game.
As for where to get em, I suggest GOG.com, love that site!
